Never, ever, ever - and I mean NEVER - ignore your gut when you re out in the wild. We have those senses for a reason, so if they speak up make sure you listen! I learned that lesson the hard way. Another great video, Eli!

I know it takes a hell of a lot of work that y'all do to make these videos. I'm 65 now and my encounter happened in Evergreen CO in 1977. Until The Tube came along I forgot about it, kinda. See I joined the Navy 2 weeks later, so it was pushed back in my mind. You've busy as shit the first 3 months of boot and going to Italy 3 months after that. When I came across Sasquatch Chronicles and talked to Wes, great dude. But I just didn't get some questions answered. So I talked to Steve HTH and he turned me on to Scott Carpenter RIP. I guess in a way I'm lucky, but when I hear of others experience, it helps. Thanks STM I appreciate the work. Oh by the way, F the Haters!

I'm amazed how these people can go into the woods after seeing a bigfoot. I saw one when i was 14, and now I'm 62, and i would never ever go into the woods after i saw one. The fear of these things will never go away. Good luck to the researchers.

WOW. I have always described the vocalization during my encounter as an elephant trumpeting with a lion roaring, I've never heard anybody else use that likeness until now. And then David said that his librarian's name was Mrs. Holcombe and that was my librarians name too LMAO!!!

So cool to hear about the scream. In 2005, I was out deer hunting alone in a rural area with thick woods. Was using a portable tree stand that has to be taken down every evening. Didn't see any deer and so my hunt that day was uneventful. I quit in time to get my gear packed and strapped onto my back for the long walk back to my pickup. The sun was setting as I made my way down a firebreak. Decided to make a call to family on my cell phone to let them know I'm ok. Just a short time after I began speaking to a family member on my phone, a most unusual, high pitched scream erupted to my left less than one hundred yards away. The scream was so incredibly loud and unlike anything I had ever heard before. I grew up hunting and fishing plus my dad was an outdoorsman. This was not from a mountain lion or anything I was familiar with. I asked my family member, whom I was speaking to on the phone, if she heard that scream. She replied that she hadn't heard it. The cheap flip phone's microphone wasn't sensitive enough to pick up the scream. I began to try and describe it. The entire time I could feel whatever had made the scream still watching me. It was hidden by the canopy shadow of a Live Oak tree. My spine tingled from the scream. I did my best to put as much distance ahead on the firebreak as it was turning dark outside pretty fast. I only had a compound bow with arrows as far as a weapon. Thankfully nothing followed me back on the trail. It was pitch black by the time I got back to my pickup. I watched the trail for a while where it cuts across a large open field. Nothing ever appeared out in the open. Never found any tracks in the sandy trails.

Hi , I have a suggestion for you all at STM & OMP. Could you get 100-150 people ,volunteers to go to the nest area and then all 150 people spread themselves apart by 50 metres and walk a distance of 10 miles? Do this for two - three days and with that volume of people spread across 23 kilometres across the 3 days and see if anything is seen or found? It’s worth a shot and if walking with that many people across a large expanse and for that distance if you flush Sasquatch or Sasquatches out some one may see or get a video or photo of one of these undiscovered animals? Many thanks Rich

Ivan T. Sanderson's Abominable Snowman Legend come to life, was my Bigfoot Bible when I was a teenager, at the time it seemed like any other books I could find on the subject seemed like they were targeted towards children rather then adults. Or they were just recounting of other people's encounters usually starting with Ray Crew's footprints and oil drums thrown down canyons and road building machinery being messed with, then the Bluff Creek incident with the film by Patterson and Gymlan film, which I have always and still am convinced is real, while Sanderson also included these accounts he didn't use them as the main focal point and included plenty of encounters from North America from the past that clearly showed that "Bigfoot" was not a new phenomenon but something that has been around since pre-Columbian times and similar creatures in many different parts of the world, and he layed it out more geared towards adult readers it seemed like, while having all the same info as the others it had much more info as well!
