after rigorous scientific examination we have determined that these plastic pieces were military projectiles, they bear the marks of being fired at high velocities. At first we thought they were toys, but then the lab assistant stepped on one and we realized how deadly they could be.

It would be harder to get them to hit each other. I have a feeling they don’t fly very straight.

@@deltab9768 Yeah that's what I figured but I wouldn't have thought just a few more feet would have changed all that much with the amount of pressure they were dealing with. Though I assume the guys that built them would know what's best. I just kept wanting to see a good connection and it seemed like just a little more distance might have done it on some of the shots lol.

i'm pretty sure there's a ride somewhere that is a drop tower without the brakes, and they use this exact same principle (the very tight air seal as a cushion) instead of the brakes and it works every time
