It's best to lean to the side of cautious optimism. Like how the average amount of points scored by a team in 12 minutes is about 26 points. So on average, in 7 minutes that would be 15 points. So I'd say Carmelo scoring 18 points is very much pushing being realistic. Suggesting that he could have scored 28 more points in 7 minutes is a bit ridiculous though. If a team were to score 28 points per 7 minutes, they'd score 192 points in a game. When's the last time that happened?

Actually this was reviewed and was stated by officials that it wasn't. You have to watch it very closely, I thought it was too...but he catches the ball and on the dribble he shuffles his feet like a million times but the ball doesn't hit the floor yet, he did it to try to fool the defender. To the average eye you will call travel 9x out of ten. I was shocked when they said it wasn't. Play it in slo-mo and you'll see.
