Anyway, those that I have met from Rio would tell me that naive tourists see all the glamour of Copacabana Beach, and the mistake many make is they stray from Copacabana to just a block behind, and the safety factor is MUCH less than it was just a couple minutes earlier, and that tourists get in trouble a lot as a result.
