Sir I have nothing but the utmost respect for you. I am a 62-year-old man currently in Fort Worth Texas. You sir, have been the most in my opinion important factor, in causing people to wake up to the truth of Bigfoot. With all due respect my hat is off to you!

I thought it was fake until I saw the stabilized video -- if it was a rubber mask and fur suit then whoever made was incredibly gifted.

I have seen a sasquatch, in rural pa in the early 1990's. What he said about everything happening so fast is what people dont understand. I saw it while mt biking and knew what I was seeing instantly. I watched it for 5 to 10 seconds and from 50 to 100 feet away. I generally only tell my story on line to avoid the people who want to explain that i was mistaken. This guy is telling the truth bc his story has never changed. Lies are hard to remember.

Their footage still to this day is the one I truly believe.

Hell of a nice guy. I have spoke to him twice now and I fee l ashamed for the folks in the past(and a few more recently) that gave him and his wife grief. Bob is a genuine, honest, forthright and decent gentleman! 👣👣

Bob is a grand old man with the alert mind of a 40 or 50- year- old individual, how could anyone doubt his story, he tells it with obvious honesty, He saw what he says he saw, no doubt about it, a living legend.

Doesn't strike me as a man who would want his life to be a big lie. If he'd been on his own without a camera he probably would have kept it to himself. I believe everything he says here is true.

Glad I saw this. The man is 100% believable. If you have ever seen something so rare and unexpected, it is a mix of emotions that you have to process and then try to convey to others. I know this first hand. I saw something in Gettysburg military park on a rainy evening well after sundown. My wife and I were parked at the base of Little Round Top. And we both saw a ball of light come up out of the ground about 2 feet off the ground. It moved to the left, then back to the right, went back to center, and closed down as it went back into the ground. She was really shook up and started to cry, and I was just in shock and almost disbelief as to what had just happened. I have always been careful who I told this too, because you know peoples first reaction is to not believe you. Just like this man says..."I know what I saw". I believe him.

52 years later and the story hasn't changed.I believed it then and I believe it now. Mr Gimmlin is the man.

Patterson's wife left him because of his bad reputation from so many people calling him a lier he said on his death bed his film was genuine and this man's story has never changed you can tell he's honest with all the technological Analysis of the film shows it's genuine

At 21:16, the way hes looking to the side as he describes what he saw, and the way he says he saw so much more of everything, of the muscle movement, than what his friend captured on film sounded very convincing hes telling the truth and it was a real big foot or primitive woman or man that he saw walking about by chance.

I was on the fence about Bigfoot, but when this gentleman said after looking at the film " you've got nothing, I saw so much more", you couldn't make that up in a hundred years. This man is legit, and so is patty.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a big screen adaptation made of this story yet. A true-to-life recreation of Roger & Bob's lives before the film, the day of the encounter, how their lives changed afterward (for better or worse), & of course the pop cultural impact of their experience.

My father watched a mother and child walk up a mountain for 5 mins above Lake Tahoe in the spring of 1966 and did not what it was until we watched your film on tv. My Father call me into the room and we watched it on tv and he asked what I saw I said that what we saw at star lake

Great man and great legacy. They managed to film a true legend, that has been reported about for centuries beforehand as a "Wild Man". Everyone who has seen these creatures with their own eyes knows he's 100% genuine.

I spoke to Bob in Nov 2016 at ocean shores,Wa.Such a very nice gentleman.He told me in detail what led up to the actual video and after he and Patterson left to go process the film.The bad rainy weather that night,roads washing away! Very dramatic experience! Now,people just do not realize how far back up Bluff Creek they were from Orleons.Gosh,I hope Bob allows some one to make a movie about that faithful day back in Oct. 1967! Bob is a prince of a man!

This man is not making his story up, first of all.. he had no reason to and second..he comes across as a man of integrity. I believe he saw what he said they saw.

Great interview of a very well-articulated, nice guy. It's so interesting to hear his engaging retelling of what happened and his experiences. I have always felt it unfortunate that we never get to hear Patterson's side of the story--he died from cancer roughly 5 years after the encounter.

The famous film was shown in the theatre when I was a boy. I grew up in the bush and then out in the country. I knew what animals looked like when they moved. As soon as I saw the film my first thought was, “Its real...that’s no guy in a suit”. The muscles moving under the skin couldn’t be faked. Not in those days, anyhow.

Man I could listen to this guys stories. It must have been a hell of a roller coaster ride of a life . He was only in his 20 s so he has dealt with all the ups and downs. He reminds me of my stepdad We always had so much fun out riding horses and him telling me stories.

I had the *GREAT PLEASURE* of meeting Roger and Bob at Sacramento City College in Nov. '67 right after they shot this *Historical* film; they were premiering the film at the college. I was able to talk to them after the film showing in a small group. Later in my experience as a seasonal employee of the Forest Service as a Surveyor Tech had many experiences of Bigfoot encounters over the time of living in the forest over a period of a year of living in remote areas!

I'm in shock that I'm attracted to an almost 90 yr old man! I forgot this was about Bigfoot.

The Patterson footage and this interview alone convinces me of the possibility of the existence of Sasquatch. I like to believe that Sasquatches are evolved descendants of the Gigantopithecus that crossed the Bering landbridge into the Americas from Asia.

I believe him, no one can lie so smoothly and in so much detail. Whatever happened in 1967,Gimlin wasn't in on it.

I just have to say his story is credible. You look into his eyes, his facial expressions, his body language, the way he speaks and tells of the experience, and the totality of his speaking about the experience and he is telling the truth. I had the opportunity be to travel to Fresno CA that month and to listen to him in person and this is one credible human being. What Roger and Bob witnessed that day, I believe, is fact. Period. They do exit.

I’m currently reading the book “Sasquatch,Legend Meets Science” by Jeff Meldrum.It is a comprehensive study of large ape species and how they could possibly relate to the existence of Bigfoot in North America.Whether you believe or not,it is a good read. I am certainly interested in the possible existence of Sasquatch,but I am still on the fence as to whether they truly do exist.But when people who have nothing to gain but ridicule come forward with their experiences,I can’t help but think they are being truthful.

I have watched their footage I don't even know how many times. They captured the only legitimate evidence of sasquatch that I have ever seen. When people say "where's the clear photos of bigfoot??" I always say, have you seen the Patterson-Gimlin footage? Because the original film, not the copies of copies, is a beautifully clear showing of this animal.

Bob Gimlin was an honest man then and is now. It's sad he had to wait all those years for society to be honest with itself.

Over 50 years since they made the film public, and no one can debunk it. In fact, with every technological advancement in video stabilization, the added detail has only made the creature in the film more obviously real. We can see muscle groups flexing, the bare soles of Patty's feet, and her fingers curling and extending with each step -- thats movement of fingers and hands which hang on very long arms. These details have been studied by the experts in Cryptozoology as well and film making and special effects. They all state that what the film shows could not have been achieved in 1967, and cannot be duplicated now.

You can tell straight off the bat, this guys a gentleman. I don't doubt his story at all.

19:00 October 1967 was a Friday. He said it was filmed on a Saturday. So that means it was actually filmed October 21 1967. This guy is a legend. Clearly not the first person to see a Sasquatch but without his participation, this film likely would have never happened. Than you Bob.

everything about this man's story, and his demeanor, his facial expressions, how he recounts the story.......it all strikes me as truth. he looks like he's recalling an actual event. and he doesn't strike me as a dilusional person, at all....just a salt of the earth, humble dude. given his experiece in the outdoors and hunting big game, he would know if it were a man in a suit (tho i realize he and patternson were the ones accused of that). he's about 20 yrs older than me and i sure hope i'm in this good of shape, mentally and physically, if i'm blessed to make it to that age. thank you sir for continuing to tell the story.

For those who continue to remain critical of Bob’s story, even after studying the evidence, as well as, logically considering all of the variables involved, all I ask of you is to submit a sensible, reasonable answer to only one question: why would these two grown men put forth the amount the time, money, and resources they did in order to design and manufacture a very believable full-body hair suit (probably the first of its kind) and then, PUT BOOBS ON IT??? Yes, the Patterson/Gimlin Bigfoot has fully developed breasts, indicating that it is a female. Why in god’s name would anyone attempting to FAKE the most involved Sasquatch sighting of all time put big dangly boobs on it??? Please also keep in mind that at the time that this footage was shot, “Bigfoot” was not the massive cultural phenomenon it is today…it became that way, in large part, BECAUSE OF this footage. For those insisting that it can’t be real simply because “It looks fake”, the question begs to be asked, “How can one criticize the legitimacy of the appearance of a thing no one has ever seen?” Flat Earthers use this brand of logic quite often, insisting that the images of space, Earth, the moon, other planets, etc are all CGI and don’t actually exist, because it all looks so manufactured, like a movie. I don’t think it’s necessary for me to break down the thinking required here in order to recognize the fallacy of such a statement, as it is impossible for a person to either confirm or refute the legitimacy of a thing they have never actually seen, themselves. One area of study that I find the most compelling, with regard to the potential existence of the entity we call ‘Bigfoot’, is that of body mechanics. It doesn’t take much time or analysis to recognize the key differences that exist in the way that the physical bodies of humans and gorillas function and operate. This also applies to creature we know as Sasquatch. If you go over to ThinkerThunker’s channel and watch the latest 3 or 4 videos he’s released, it becomes very apparent that not only are there drastic differences in the way their bodies behave in relation to our own, but those differences are remarkably consistent. Apes, especially gorillas, tend to have much shorter legs and much longer arms than humans, they have virtually no neck, a “pointed” head, extremely wide shoulders, etc…all qualities that we see in the most legitimate documented Bigfoot sightings available on film. They also tend to lean forward when either walking or running, and their leading and trailing legs make an approx 90 degree angle when walking…which, if attempted by a human, resembles something akin to the human imitation of a chicken. Anyway, I highly recommend spending considerable time checking out the videos on TT’s channel, for anyone truly interested in studying this amazing phenomenon.

Bobs a truthful soul. The man is a Humble and a honest to goodness true mountain man/Cowboy with little Indian to boot! He’s not a liar. Men like Bob are rare in this day and age. The film is Without doubt after examination -all these years by Munn and others to be Sasquatch. MK Davis’s Early work was very good, but MK fell by the wayside ‘attempting to stay in the limelight’ -As time progressed and others began good analysis and research.

I for one after years of my own analysis of this film, and everything that has been found, and keeps being found, is this is a genuine Sasquatch seen all the fake stuff and this one is not fake !

What a cool guy! I’ve followed this all my life. Lots of people just take a quick look at the video and say the typical line, “that’s just a guy in a suit”. But when you really dive deep into this, believe me, it’s very very compelling! There’s a hell of a lot more to this than the average skeptic thinks.

The Patterson-Gimlin film is impeccable evidence, especially in its restored digital form... But I wonder how Gimlin would respond to the multiple claims that the Canadian hunters who were with them captured a juvenile sasquatch, tied it to stakes, gunned down 5 other sasquatch as they tried to free the juvenile, and then took trophies in the form of heads, hands, and feet.

Over 50 years have passed since the famous Patterson/Gimlin Bigfoot film,....it's been studied, analyzed and scrutinized by experts and skeptics alike....and still it passes all the scientific,..anatomical,. and animal characteristics criteria for being genuine.....my belief is that shaky, grainy footage on a sunny day in the fall of 1967, that lasts barely a minute is of a large female Bigfoot.......and that astounding clip as intrigued us all ever since.

its amazing everyone asks for proof on film and when they get it people still cannot believe it this creature walked away not petrified but with distain for people disturbing it going about its own business the look back was a kind of saying keep your distance its power was unmistakable

When I watched a deep analysis of the video it blew me away there is no way it’s a fake from the breast, muscle movement, the detail of the hair placement, and the size was massive it is to good to be a fake in the 1960’s!!!!

I've always thought the Big Foot stuff made no sense (where are the bones of dead ones, etc.?) but this guy strikes me as an honest dude - that's just my gut, but. my intuition has served me pretty well over the years. If I had to bet, I'd bet he's just telling the truth. In '94 myself and some co-workers were close up with a massive UFO - and I never believed that stuff was real, really. That event really opened my mind. This fella sure comes across as having nothing to gain by lying, and, as a decent guy. When he said he wasn't out to prove they exist, he knows they exist - that's me, anymore, with UFOs and (apparently) alien life. This man just gave me a piece of wisdom. I know what I know and I'll never convince others - and that really doesn't matter, anyway.
