Tho a window unit with cool/ heat wouldn’t cost that much for that space. But would give it a trailer park look. Throw in the mini split for 30k and that would make it a pretty good deal IMO. Would love to see one in person. 👍

True. But you’re getting a tiny home made out of door panels. No ac/ and you have to paint it inside and out. Would you want to weather an extreme high winds storm made out of door panels? I hear what you’re saying, but that would be concerning to me.

@@tinyhouselistings Yes! As well as a tiny sink in the bathroom or at least the infrastructure for one that I could add. (And bonus but not required a possible sliding/pocket/barn door for bathroom.) Love the exterior siding and warranty. Interior walls and windows. Nice. Very.

Yes! A DIY build where you're very cost-conscious about materials and maybe are able to salvage a good amount.

We are considering doing a 20' but don't have enough feedback yet to decide if it's a good way to go.

I have been looking for a budget tiny home to use as a camp on a lake for two years. I think there would be a HUGE market for well built low priced "less fancy" tiny homes that cost less than the house we a currently living in. 16' is too small for a couple to spend weekends away in on a regular basis. 20 may be doable and 24 is certainly doable. These tiny "camps" do not need high end amenities. They just need solid construction, good insulation and the basics. Buying a 70k tiny house for a weekend camp is just not a good investment.

This is a common misunderstanding with tiny homes. Even if the home swings out, you still have to enter the home with your body. Doesn’t make a difference for the most part.

Absolutely not! Our home is made of the same materials a home is made from. We would never build a home from those types of materials.
