As an old Naval Aviation vet. I really love your attention to detail on the aircraft especially the cockpit views inside and out. I have never seen such realistic animation depicting flight maneuvers, your barrel rolls are right on! During her spin I completely expected you to show her stomping on the rudder....ha ha! You must be a pilot. Well done

Wow just brilliant. Unlike everyone else who wanted to gain water for their personal gain. She wanted to distribute it to everyone by making rain and sacrificing her life. What a legendary character and what a amazing short film.

She didn't risk her life at that point. At that point, her life was already lost, due to her having been shot in the gut. And she knew it. So, in order to make the most out of her death, she did what she did.

@@thedbq1 It has real meaning like guys who went to war for us in rl. The image given is Relatable . This is called immersion and understanding you may not like it but real character or not what she did deserves one. All movies and toons have characters that we can imagine and understand do to our perception of reality so we give meaning to things a lot that aint real on movies. Even if a movie is based on a true story its not real the character that is being portrayed is an actor doing that part for you to understand. Also the director and producers that produced the movie still gave you a visual experience its what separate us from the animals. Thats be cause we have the ability to do this.

(Spoiler ) New generation live because of old generation sacrifice , They are trying to get cloud for their own purpose as there are no water left or some other experiment , cloud is the source for water but the greed blind their eyes so she sacrificed herself for the greater good and saved the cloud by destroying the cloud collector and brought back the life to the land .so the next generation can live good life because of old generation sacrifice .

Mr. Martell, WOW! GREAT story, without any dialogue! The textures on the ground and buildings, the expressions on the girl's face in response to the changing circumstances, and the planes movements wrapped up together to make a short film that needs to be fleshed out into a full-length feature! Thank you for this eye, and mind-candy! I enjoyed it thoroughly!

3:39 My favorite scene is when they stop attacking the main character knowing that he helped how no later plane. Very cool motif with no communication and no understanding of the intentions of strangers. GOOD JOB AND SUBSCRIBE!

This is probably the BEST animation film I have ever seen!! I’ve been watching CGmeetup’s animation films for awhile now and this one is by far my favorite. I’ve always wanted to be an inventor and a pilot growing up and this film combined both of my dreams. I absolutely love it!!👍🏽♥️✈️

An interesting phenomenon I've noticed at 8:34 *several times* over the years (every time I watch it ... and it's one of my precious "Downloads" so I get to do that a couple of times a year) and that is this: When the first big fat raindrops smack onto that dusty old boat, *I SMELL RAIN!* EVERY TIME! *KUDOS* to the creators of this entirely satisfying art. Visual, audible, emotional -- and even *OLFACTORY!*

I would like to pay tribute to the woman who struggled to make rain clouds and make it rain even if she had her own death on the depleted land. I was impressed by the scene where I entrusted her to the woman who found the blueprint of the manufacturing machine that flew in the wind.

What I love the most about this movie is the fact that the lady is vey determined she wasn’t even moved by those who wanted to execute her but still avoided them and still helped them. And more of she wasn’t scared to die

There were only two rainmakers. The first one, and the young woman who found the plans to the rainmaker. I'm assuming that this is a process that will last a long time, with many rainmakers.
