Chiori's demo screams the very reason why it's likely for her to leave Inazuma; she's someone who's brave enough to defy the norms, something she'd get into trouble with if she stayed in her homeland.

Chiori is one of those characters where her design is aesthetically pleasing to look at. Her sassiness and stern personality is something to be admired too!

In English she says "my aesthetics follow their own rules" but in Chinese she says "I will use my aesthetics to change the rules" and honestly, that CN line hits so much harder

I don’t normally comment but gosh I love her attitude and defiance and lover for her craft. I am a researcher and this is exactly how I feel towards it. The statement “my works brings in the customer not my smile” I relate so much because, even though being in this field I am not nerd type. I was a backbencher lol, and mu dressing sense is so casual, an extrovert; people around me say I should change be more like others in my field, dress properly etc. I say similar thing, “Its my work that people are gonna see not me.” Being a theoretical researcher. I love her gosh. (Plus I have a geo collection so she has to come home😉)

One thing to note is that Chiori didn't have a lot of time to build up into everyone's psyche. She only showed up in a limited event a few months ago with virtually no real back story in the main one so if you haven't attended that you would have no idea who she is, Chevreuse was more built up by character during said limited event. As a geo main I do hope she defies all expectations!

I love everything about Chiori’s design and personality, and the fact I’m in Japan right now and she’s an Inazuma character just fits so perfectly!! The only downside is that I have no primos to get her with 😭

obsessed with chiori’s personality and design - the little snippets of her backstory we can infer are so cool - plus all the character cameos-favorite demo yet??

the theme arrangement is so interesting for this one. tunewise i have nothing much to say but the way the background track is more of a modernised synth jazz/city pop, confident and classy while the main melody is slow and methodical, played on what i assume is a traditional japanese instrument really serves as testament to Chioris character. not as catchy as some other themes have been but other than that i dont think theres ever been a time where genshin hasnt managed to perfectly portray the characrers in their demo themes. visuals wise: im seeing a lot of the usual techniques here, with the people walking across the screen cutting to chiori or her customers, and the collage-like boxes wuth different cuts of chiori. the backgrounds with the strips of cloth are absolutely gorgeous as genshin fx backgrounds always are, and i love the use of the flowing cloth to guide the eye to the next scene. Also, the cute accessory on the genshin logo and the scene at the end add make this trailer really adorable. favourite cuts: 1:04 - 1:13 1:22 - 1:37 chioris unfortunately set up to be a more unpopular character due to being the only 5 star of a filler patch with a niche kit, so lets show her some love.

I loved this demo. The character has a lot of personality, seems to have an interesting lore that we are yet to discover and the demo itself is very beautiful with the use of these printed fabrics. Every scene in the trailer was like a thought-out photo. Very good indeed.
