This is correct. The Seminole Tribe of Florida and Florida State University have an ongoing partnership for many decades. In 2005, the NCAA brought renewed attention to the use of Native American names. The Seminole Tribe of Florida spoke for themselves and signed this document officially allowing FSU to continue to use the "Seminole" name and logo. www.fsu.edu/seminole-tribe/documents/Seminole-Tribe-of-Florida-2005-Resolution.pdf "UNCONQUERED!"
