I’m from The US, and while I am respectfully have a strong disliking against China’s Government, I will say that I 100% agree that even though I live here I have all kinds of strong opinions America is definitely a laughingstock to most other Countries. We sadly do indeed think of ourselves. However, I will say I wish that there were more democracies then The US, The UK, and a handful of others. Many Democracies come with The English Language, no “Foreign” violence, freedoms, fewer domestic terrorists, fewer car accidents, fewer billboard signs with “Characters” on the Highway not driving on the wrong side of the roads, less poverty, and less foreign crime, fewer police officers with machine guns wearing silk uniforms, fewer foreigners hating each-other, (although African Americans, for example, and Caucasian Americans don’t see eye to eye hence creates racism), and other benefits, and privileges. Thankfully, Democracies are not war zones, either. Plus, our currency is dollars, and not weird money. The UK, Australia, Canada, Ukraine, (shame on what Putin is doing there), and a few others are similar to The USA, too! We might be a laughingstock but we have more freedom here then other Countries with less crime, poverty, language barriers, etc. even though I disagree with our government here. Not all Countries are “Bad” but Democracies are unique. True. I live in Taipei and there's no chaos or a war situation anywhere in Taiwan. I don't know from which Hollywood movie our Indian media are getting all these footages from. From the past 3 days, nobody in Taiwan has seen any kind of missile or a military aircraft in the skies. They're all atleast 30-40km away from the land. I've seen enough exaggeration from Indian media. They've already finished showing the whole war on their channels before it has even started.

Taiwan is part of China even the US and the UN recognize this. Taiwanese are free to leave Taiwan when PRC takes over. This is the best option. With hindsight KMT made the mistake of claiming it represented China and that Taiwan is the Republic of China. It made Taiwan part of China. When Taiwan was no longer considered as China then it became part of PRC. KMT should have declared Formosa as the Republic of Taiwan, not China.

They put their nuclear weapons on high alert because they knew if NATO intervened or just the U.S it would be game over for them. So their only option is to of course end the game. Taiwan makes over 95% of the world advanced semicondutors. You just cant make these anywhere. It would take silicon valley ( or anyone for that matter) 10-20 years to build one of these facilities ..... even if they wanted to?
