As someone fluent in both English and Russian, I am learning Spanish at school and it definitely comes easier than to other people who know one language. Once you learn two or three languages, you start noticing similarities and structures between language, and it is pretty cool. Russian is definitely hard if you're not a native speaker like I am. I admire your pursuit of knowledge and wish you success.

I learned I took 3 years of Spanish in high-school. In my third year I started learning Russian. People always say Russian is so hard to learn but after studying Spanish I see awesome between patterns the three languages. Learning Russian has been significantly easier because of my Spanish. It's nice to see others have a similar experience.

Even the "ehm's" get translated. The looking-for-the-word-eske pausings. That's an interesting part, because that means those things possibly aren't so much culturally rooted but relate stronger to a linguistical connectedness. That would imply that people learning other languages should learn and (get the guts to) integrate that into the mix. Not only that, your facial expressions around the mouth and cheeks are different with any other language. And to an extent also to eyebrows. Creating wholely different facial-expression-mime. And this added to the above-mentioned mix makes that theory even stronger. My native language is Dutch, Nederlands zoals we zeggen, and English truly became a second language to me. Ik zou je wel eens een paar zinnetjes Nederlands willen horen spreken. Cause I can't really your way with the others. (The comments clear that up) Great channel, +1 sub

I am a native speaker of Russian and personally, I really admire how well your grammar is and the sentence structures. Your pronunciation however might take time. Russian has very difficult pronunciations and the fact you are doing so well gives me hope I can become a polyglot someday. All I have to say for Russian is keep up the good work and drive some attention to pronunciations. I am also studying Japanese and pronunciation is great and the structure itself. However, the grammar might need a little more work. A tip for you is that once Japanese people mention what the subject of the sentence is, they usually would drop it. For example, you mentioned a lot of Japanese things like "Japanese politics" "Japanese culture", Japanese people would usually drop that and just start a sentence talking about the subject without having to mention it. The only time you would mention the subject is when switching to a new subject. Overall you are amazing hope this helped!

Im half french half turkish( from the ossetian caucasus) and I was born and raised in France with german as first language so it was many languages since ... well ... forever. Sorry if it looks like I brag about it but it's not; you, sir, just gave me so much hope to reconnect to learning languages again. Especially towards korean/japanese/chinese ! Your turkish is actually not bad at all, what strucks me is that you speak high level korean/good japanese as few as I could hear; so here is my advice: Think the turkish accent like korean and japanese (in a general way) for the beginning and you will understand the indiscible links between them 3. I wish you so much fortune as much as I envy you!

Omg Phoenix, that's amazing. I am truly impressed with how you make correct intonations and pauses for most of the languages, and the fact that you change your voice placement and pitch to make the language sound more natural. It's really great! Keep up with your practice. Your Korean and Spanish sound really natural in terms of pronunciation and intonation. You've caught the so-called melody of the speech for those languages. You sound like a native speaker. French sounds a liiiittle bit off, as someone mentioned in the comments "heavy" but still very good. Same for Turkish, it sounds a little a bit unnatural but still pretty good. Russian, as you mentioned, is really pretty hard in terms of pronunciation. I am a native speaker, so I can tell that by grammatical structure overall you did an amazing job so far. I would recommend having a good look at some logopedic books for Russian-speaking kids, it might help you with the pronunciation. This language might be too difficult even for the native speakers xD because we have really tons of materials on speech articulation correction and logopedic therapy. Good luck with your learning journey! You've given a great deal of inspiration, thank you!

Usually when I hear foreigners speaking Portuguese it's very common to identify some not so natural pronunciations since it's a very different language, but your skills on my mother tongue really surprised me a lot! With some more effort over time I believe you can master our pronunciation quite well and sound like a native speaker. 🇧🇷 Parabéns pelos esforços !👏 vou acompanhar seu canal daqui pra frente 🇧🇷

По просьбе автора оставлю отзыв о русском. Русский действительно самый сложный язык, но у вас хорошо получается. Следует практиковать ударения, склонения и спряжения, падежи, но говорите вы понятно и разборчиво, мысль сформулирована грамотно, и это впечатляет, вы говорите лучше, чем некоторые наши соотечественники! Браво!)

If you have already known that , then focus on more vocabulary. Cuz we Turks don't use so many different words in our daily life. Good luck 🙏🏻

as an italian, i don't think it will be easy at all... i mean, yes italian and spanish have a similar structure (in fact, i can understand Spanish easily after only having studied it a little in school) but italian is made of irregular words for its vast majority, and learning italian requires you to learn and memorize all those cases which is by no means an easy task.

Você fala igual meu pai em português, ele também tem esses mesmos pequenos problemas na pronúncia e gramática, como confundir 'i' com 'e' ou trocar o gênero (masculino e feminino) da palavra. Eu acho muito engraçado! Ele fala mandarim, inglês, espanhol, cantonês e português e o jeito de dizer as palavras é realmente parecido. Estou ainda aprendendo 😅, comunicar com outras pessoas e conhecer sua cultura é bem importante para mim. Continue assim!!
