She's moving down in weight and calling out the longest reigning undisputed female champion (Cecilia Braekhus). That is NOT cherry picking. It's quite the opposite. If Shields has shown us anything, it's that she'll fight EVERYONE.

Shields moved down for 2 reasons, one to break the 3 division record & try to entice Cecilia Braekhus to see if she will meet her at 154 or catchweight between 147-154. Its not cherry picking but female boxing has a shallow pool. Habazin was a weak opponent but you only can beat who is in front of you

Women's boxing does not have a following or a large talent pool. If this was in men's boxing, it would be a different story. Unfortunately, Shields is a gifted fighter fighting in a unwatched (for the most part) sport with a shallow talent pool.

This is just another lesson i'm sure this young lady has learned. As you grow so does your enemies and so do those demons! You can clearly see this was a planned out deed. He knew this would cause a problem and throw things off in some aspect, however he thought that Claressa would loose focus and step in, I believe his girl was afraid to fight.
