As a european (Austrian), I can only say I am impressed. In europe, we do not have two-party-systems. Our entire form of government DEPENDS on bipartisanship. In coalition Governments. In countries like Germany and Austria, centristic parties from both sides come together to form broad coalitions against the extremes of BOTH the left AND the right. I did not understand how american politicians just could not manage to break party lines for common sense. And finally, they did. And I hope this working together is not the end of bipartisanship for Common sense. Because if it is, it's over for America.
