@@xPandamon because I was looking for a car that seemed somewhat fun to drive, found a turbocharged cobalt ss that was very clean with low kilometers. Then I decided to look at it and took it for a test drive and realised that is was actually kind of sick. So to answer your question I turned my nose up at first and after deciding to look at one and driving it I realised it was perfect.

The Renault Clio V6 3.0 RS definitely deserves to be on this list. Insane little car. They took the clip which is a front wheel drive econobox and jammed a 3.0 V6 behind the driver and made it RWD.

My dream car is the R32 Skyline GT-R, but my ultimate nightmare of owning one is that a Toyota Previa Will pull up on me with Konig race wheels and a rebuilt engine making more than that 140+ horsepower and destroying what little mods I will put it into the car to make it reach 500+ horsepower. Edit - there might be a little bit more money to go into the car than what I have previously said and I made a mistake by saying that there is going to be such few parts going into a skyline that I am looking to purchase near stock as possible because I know that it take at least a good amount of parts, not a lot and not too little of an investment to make it reach 500 horsepower and 425 Foot Pounds of torque.

1:22 as someone who owns a Cobalt SS, the turbocharged model was also a 2.0. there was a 2.4 NA model available but the SC (05-07) and TC (08-10) were the top trim levels 1:43 Recaro sears were an option as well.

Mark Bennett I think the Lotus Sunbeam was based on a Talbot Horizon. In the late 70s and early 80s Talbot were I think owned by Chrysler.

Thanks for recognizing the XRunner! I had one and it's probably the car I miss the most. I had the TRD blower, intake, big brake kit on it. URD small pulley, 7th injector kit, big bore throttlebody and traction bar. QA1 suspension with mono-leafs in the rear. All that and I traded it, for a 2012 Mustang GT. WHY!?

I'm not even done watching the video yet but I'm so happy to see you include the Omni GLH. When I was a child, my mom's first car that she ever bought was an '88 Omni (not a GLH though) and I have so many fond memories of that car. Sure, there weren't many horses under the hood, but it was a zippy little car. I miss that car so much and if I could, I would have an Omni now.

2:02 here in South Africa we got a version of the first generation golf but facelifted and was still in production until 2009. It's called the VW CiTi Golf. They kept it going as it was such a well selling car but they have since replaced it with the VW Polo Vivo.

Funny thing is you guys have mentioned the Cobalt SS a few times in your videos but the Ion Redline was the same car, but more aerodynamic and had limited slip diff (not to mention cheaper), they even had the exact same chevy engine. It even had the chevy motorsport plaque in the engine bay. I was in a small car club in my teenage years and there were a few Redlines and a few cobalt ss and no matter what type or test we did the redline was ALWAYS faster.

Fun fact. The original Cobalt SS Supercharged's horsepower figure was WAY under-rated. It actually made around 200-205 hp... AT THE WHEELS, closer to around 235-240 hp at the crank (Dodge did the same thing with the later SRT-4s). So, the turbo version didn't ACTUALLY make that much more power (though it did have a bit more tuning potential). With some decent tires, a torque dampener (helps reduce wheel hop on launch), and stiffer suspension (the factory springs are too soft, so the car rocks back on launch), the 05-07 SS can go toe-to-toe with an SRT-4 and even the turbo SS models. With a smaller pulley and a better flowing cat, they become quite the little monsters. They handle really well (even stock), too.

Every time I see one it just zooms through traffic like nothing, it also looks really funny when it turns. I'd rather have a miata but everyone has got their own opinion.

The Toyota Previa’s Supercharger was also PTO driven. Not driven off the belt. It is a super cool design, and I regret selling the SC, I scavenged from a salvage yard.

Fun fact from a former X-Runner owner, TRD also equipped some of them with the Magnuson/TRD superchargers that bumped them to over 300 horsepower and 330ft/lb of torque. The supercharger was the chef's kiss on that manual street truck and made it a riot to drive. If you can find an X-Runner, then wait and find one that's supercharged. It's worth it.

Bro I have the Saturn vue. I've actually owned two of course both had the Honda v6 and both were all-wheel drive period you can get the red line which just adds cool body effects and the suspension is a little lower it looks really cool period an interior is really nice too. I suggest getting really nice seat covers though since the seats themselves are kind of uncomfortable period and they feel cheap. Super fun to drive and the storage in the back is really nice. Please make a video about the Saturn vue

Seeing the Saturn vue redline on the list took me back to my childhood. My dad had one that he bought for like $300 at a wreck sale and didn't know until he got home and drove it what the car actually was. He fixed it and it was our family car for a long time until he sold it to another guy who also uses it for his family 😂

The hilarious part about those pops and bangs is that in older vehicles that is considered a mechanical malfunction. The pops and bangs come from the engine having a too rich fuel mixture and creating after fire, which damages exhaust valves, pipes, and the catalytic converter. My older Toyota had a system specifically to suppress that and to slow the engine down as rapidly as possible if you suddenly close the throttle to make it easier to switch gears. Whenever I hear that from a newer car, I think that either the programmers forgot how to manage an engine without damaging it, or else they don't care about people being able to change gears when they take their foot off the throttle.
