I’m not religious in the least bit I do think there HAS to be something after death we just have no way of proving it. We can’t see what happens when someone is dead from the person who died’s perspective. And that state of where there’s nothing we don’t know how long that happens. Like Neil said we don’t have a conscious awareness before we exist so who’s to say something doesn’t happen to where one day we suddenly become aware but in another person’s body. I feel out of all things the most likely scenario is rebirth. I see no possible way where we die and then there’s nothing at all. There has to be something else.

I was disappointed that you guys didn't at least speak of the common and relatively consistent experiences of near death patients.

@@edbass2769 These experiences are happening when there is still electrical-activity in the brain, and demostrate what happens when different areas of the brain begin to shut-down...It's easily reproduced by g-force testing or psychoactive-drugs. The experience tells us about how the brain fuctions, but nothing about an _afterlife_

@@DarkestVoid There really doesn't "have to be something else" , it's just chemicals and biology at work. Do you think trees go to a better place? What about bacteria? what about things that are so close to just being simple chemistry we don't even call it "life", like viruses? Make the most of it, the time after you die will be _exactly_ like it was before you were born ...

I’ve seen a couple of guest almost seemed annoyed @ Chuck’s timing some times.

you sit still in school because that's the only way you can truly and accurately retain information. your brain can't cement your learning into long term memory if you're busying it with other tasks. watching these videos while going about your day may be fuel for curiosity, but it's a far cry from learning and retaining information.

to prove my point, can you summarize what this video taught you about time dilation? WITHOUT going and watching it again? no, you can't. because you didn't learn it, you just used it as bubblegum for your curiosity. nothing wrong with it.

@Samantha Loughborough Ummmm, Howard Gardner's work in this area is over forty years old. You may have trouble learning while doing other tasks, but don't assume this is true for everyone.

@@firebird2 regardless of your preferential methods for learning, if I read you a list and ask you to recite it, you're going to repeat it more accurate if you focus solely on my words, rather than if you were folding laundry or some other rudimentary task. and that's only an example of your working(short term) memory, not your long term memory retention. your brain has a limit to how many electrical impulses can be sent effectively.
