this trailer was seriously one of the best illustrations on how it "feels" to play counter strike and was well made in almost every aspect, down to the soundtrack. Can't believe they just dropped something this high quality more than a decade ago only to never do it again, kind of sad to be honest

I've always absolutely adored csgo not as a game but as a thematic idea. The idea of being a anti terrorist squad stopping a terrorist group is such a good idea. Siege tried to do it like that but ended up using characters that weren't generic so it ended up just as a hero shooter. But csgo has always stuck to this idea. Sure it gets a bit more light as time goes on but it's core is still that premise. This trailer perfectly shows the theme and ideas of this game. No one is safe. There are no heroes just people trying to protect other people. People die both terrorist and CT. And sometimes you're trying to be the good guy and you're staring a bomb seconds away from going off after you just had 4 friends die 1 burned alive and 1 stabbed in the back. You're scared alone knowing you could die in the next few seconds either by a guy with a death wish trying to stab you in the back or by a bomb sick people set up to hurt people who didn't deserve it. Regardless it's either you save the day and be remembered as a hero or you fail and let hundreds of people die. It's one of the most fearful scenarios you can be in i'm sure. Something no one can imagine but yet you can almost feel the dread it would give you being in their situation yet here they are volunteering to try to save our lives.

It's been 11 Years, this game gave us memories, cringe keyboard break, a lot of laugh, made us shout in the mic, gave us so many friends most of them we haven't met in real life, it grew with us, changed us. This game served us for 11 Years. You will always be a Legend friend, will always remember you.

Never thought about it but I first bought CS:GO in 2014 and my first ever competitive match was on Nuke, god I remember it like it was a year ago... I was so used to 1.6 and CS:GO felt so much different, harder but in a good way, I loved the game since that very first match on Nuke. So many memories, so many good times, so many new friends met, so many games played, so much learned and so much more. Thank you CS:GO it was a pleasure: 2014 - 2023

Now *this* is a trailer. It doesn't show everything off at once and displays what the creators assumed would be a regular match, and adds emotion and meaning to every character like they are real individual people adding to the realism. You can see the panic in the last CT defusing that bomb, you can see the shock in the terorrist when the original bomb-holder died, it's so good.

They should really make another one for CS2. This trailer is awesome, and that was 11 years ago... imagine what they can do now :)
