Overrated performance. For the most part all he did was a fancy trick and made the safe pass backwards or to the side.

@@wtfx5757 nope i’m not. I just don’t pretend like Zidane is better than he is. Dismantling Brazil would’ve been making decisive plays that led to goals. For the most part all he did was retain possession and make the easy pass to the side. The only goal was due to Roberto Carlos tying his shoelaces.

@@wtfx5757 I didn’t say he’s not an all time great, I said his performance against Brazil was overrated. If Messi or Ronaldo gave that performance no one would’ve rated it. No goals, no assists in open play, no grabbing the game by the scruff of neck. Just fancy footwork and safe passes.

@@drelisolomon1094 Ronaldos the greatest of all time. He’s done it in every league always scoring bags of goals and winning 🏆 trophies . Even at Man Utd who were a terrible team this season he scored 20+ goals with barely any chances in his late 30s. No one’s ever done it better than Ronaldo.

That's nonsense. I'm French, Zidane had a bad World Cup in 98, but a magnificent final. 98 was won thanks to the whole team and Zidane woke up at the right time for the final. In 2006 Zidane had a team made up of players like Ribéry, Makelele, Viera, Thierry Henry...but in 2006 he had a great World Cup. But his best competition was the euro 2000. For the 2022 final I don't know how you can consider that France had an advantage. The referee didn't give the advantage to a French counter attack in the 90th minute when the French were going up the field and were going to be 4 against 3. The referee whistled a foul on coman, even though coman had got up and played the ball. The penalty on di maría is also very very questionable
