Have you ever felt the discomfort of your opportunities and choices being limited? In order to overcome barriers and find belonging, Jane Taylor discusses the relationship between external expectations, proactive change, and our capability for achievement. It is important for us to acknowledge that the places where we belong aren’t limited to where we are told to be; instead, they are the places we create for ourselves. At age 16, Jane Taylor is a scholarly high school student who will get her Associates of Science degree a semester before she graduates high school. Taking on many challenges throughout her life, Taylor has learned how to create a place for herself where she can succeed in many of her endeavors, and she is fueled by a passion to help others do the same.
