I don't believe abbey took chloe's win, scored can be wrong, I remember when maddie and kendall did a duet sugar and spice and it won first place, however the next day there was a call from a director of 5he competition they attended, abbey was informed there was an error with the scoring and that maddie and kendall did not win but were actually 2nd. Mistakes do happen, if it really was that chloe won I can guarantee you Christi did her own investigation just to prove to the moms and viewers, however there was no evidence that scores had been manipulated, and Christi knew this which was why she never spoke about it again. If you recall abbey wanting to change camrons score against chloe so camron would win, christi phoned the director and the judges to get clarification of abbey wanting to get the scores changed, this is why I am saying that maddie won fair and square.

@@ballydosanjh4883 But there was no way that was a coincidence. Out of hundreds of dancers who competed, it just HAD to be Maddie and Chloe's scores that were messed up. Even Christi pointed it out in the dressing room. Production or Abby had 100 % contributing factor into it

Listen to Christi’s podcast- someone came forward that week, Abby was rlly jealous bc Chloe was the first cast member to hit 1M followers. Abby went off on the judges, saying they “let” her win bc she has a lot of followers and they eventually changed the score. The same way, she tried taking away Chloe’s win when she beat Camryn.

Jojo was not upset.... the producers asked her to call Abby and she said no...

@@soccerair9 yes I'm aware. That doesn't change that the producers of the reunion asked Jojo to call Abby while filming, and she said no out of respect to the other girls. So while Jojo thought Abby should have been there, she wasn't upset about it because she understands where the other girls are coming from

I completely agree. Also the fact that Abby scolds the girls for not being in contact with her and that Abby will never take responsibility for any of her actions, just shows that she’s a narcissist. I personally grew up with a narcissistic father, and I feel so bad for the girls that they had to go through so much trauma and abuse.

What do you mean? They should show their appreciation because without Abby and her studio Dance Moms wouldve never been a thing! Not only that but she taught these girls since they were 2 they oughta thank her. Abby isnt the only person on Earth who said something wrong or made a kid cry. It happens you learn from it and move on.

@@jadeorien you clearly don't understand the trauma these girls have just because they appreciated her doesn't invaild how they feel they even said they felt like they weren't good enough because abby made them feel that way you're literally justifying abuse just because she taught them when she was younger kids learn and grow up and realize what is right and what is wrong they can be happy about what abby had made them to be but they the kids worked hard all abby did was trained them abby is still a horrible person she didn't just make a kid cry she traumatized them and made them lose confidence over the years they had to go to therapy to treat it

The way Abby talked to them was wrong, but I think what the mothers did by allowing it was wrong also. Those moms loved being on TV and being recognized in public.

Production and Abby. The OG girls and their moms did not know what they were getting into. They knew Abby as their real life dance teacher and she was not as bad then she got worse with the popularity of the show. They signed contracts and got locked into them for a certain amount of time. They could not leave or else they would have been sued by the network.

​​@@Diamond-eq2xj yes and not to mention they were locked in predatory contracts and it was in 2008 and in 2008 there were no protection laws for children on reality TV shows so of course, all the moms and their kids were pretty much locked in their contracts for X amount of years.

I will NEVER forget when Abby got abusive about Chloe’s “lazy eye”. I had liked Abby and agreed with her up until that point. It was then that I realized how rotten she really was. You do not attack a child for their physical appearance. Especially for a feature that they have no control over.

i agree! i remember everyone wanted maddie to go against Kalani and she wouldn’t let it happen! She knew kalani would WASH maddie. maddie was a beautiful dancer too but there were other girls who needed abby’s attention so they can become the dancers that she wanted them to be at the time!!

it just never made sense to me that she would focus on maddie when she was clearly very technical and didn’t need as much training. other girls needed it and abby would get mad at them when they didn’t fix corrections, but obviously that’s gonna happen if you’re not focusing on the dancers that actually NEED the training!!

But she actually did… she constantly told Chloe to not listen or care about what Abby said and Christie would always fight Abby back and that’s why she hated her so much

She can defend Abby because she treats other kids the same way as she was treated. When she formed that little kids band she was so mean to those kids. So was her mom and she learned that from Abby and she didn't care who she hurt.

Jojo forgets Abby only speaks to her because she makes the most money, if Jojo hadnt had been so successful Abby wouldnt care for her at all. Jojo is also repating the same truama to children that she recieved.

Jojo has never had a normal childhood. She jumped from dance moms over to Nickelodeon, and after quiet on set we get an idea of how that could have been. She has likely never had the chance to be outside of the cutthroat dance world/entertainment industry in the same way these girls have. She is also only 20. She’ll get there eventually, but as of right now she probably is still too ‘in it’ to really see.

@@2OOPoVstrechnoy you have to realize that was her decision she wanted to be famous. She wants to be in the public eye to get lots of attention just like her mom does. She could have walked away from all of the fame if she wanted to but she doesn't.

They were originally told it was a short documentary series of a few episodes but didn’t have the lawyers read over the contracts before signing not realizing that it was turned into a tv series and they basically had to film 4 seasons of the show to be let out of that contract

They did get their attorneys involved but because they were bined by contract they had to fulfill their 6 season contract. Kelly got out her contract after that fight with Abby. It’s unclear how Christi got out but she did return in Season 7 and she’s also doing a supernatural show which is being produced by lifetime!

@@JoyOgbatue Didn't I mention that in my post??? 😃 The moms had enough proof of emotional and verbal abuse. They could've gotten out of those contracts had they REALLY wanted to. There are laws that protect children from abuse. No excuses. They, the moms, just liked the fame too much.

Yeah every one wants to blame only Abbey but i do believe all the moms had a role to play in this. Sone even renewed their contract after it ended, now its all Abbeys fault? Smh
