This song is stunning. It makes you feel like you've reached the epitome of meaning and life, but at the same time you feel as though there is nothing. Endlessly drifting through life, but forever in one place. It's nothing and everything all at the same time. Love and loneliness. Perfect for just sitting there with a girl, and for 6 minutes in your life, just shutting the fuck up.

Lynch is a genius

David Lynch & Lykke Li: SUCH AN INCREDIBLE FUSION.

Few months ago I watched Mulholland drive and after that I knew MR. Lynch was one of his own kind. His work stands apart . During this period of isolation I watched blue velvet and inland empire. I'm in totally awe . Such a unique and original content and mind boggling. Sir you are gem . Love and respect

This was filmed in Death Valley, California. The road in the beginning is the one approaching Death Valley from Shoshone, CA. Done it so many times I know it like the back of my hand! The last scene, the motel, is Panamint Springs Resort in Death Valley. Beautiful video and music!

This remembers me so much on Julee Cruise.. What a perfect fusion Lynch and Likke Li. Gorgeous song !

I love how this so awesomely recalls Julee Cruise's songs on Twin Peaks. Seriously awesome for that feeling and atmosphere to be transferred from the early 90s to be released this year as this great song, featuring the vocals of a woman who would've just been starting school when Twin Peaks was on air.

Usually it gets annoying when lyrics repeat themselves over and over at the end of songs. But in this case every lyric felt fresh & beautiful & I didn't want it to end.

I actually find this trully relaxing. Imagine driving that same road with windows down, fresh air hitting your face and this song blasting on the player. So good.

Beautiful. Just absolutely, hauntingly, beautiful.

I was thinking about sleep during the video but mainly because it brought back the memory of when I was a teen and ran away to California from the east coast. I drove 3 straight days and as the days progressed and sleep was almost unavoidable, I hit those western roads just like this. Nothing but vast expanses of dirt and a two lane road, night and day and the music on my stereo. The girl's voice sure didn't help. lol David Lynch captures experience well.

A beautiful track, a perfect collaboration and if you cannot listen with clarity, codeine and vallium makes for an experience of bliss. The latter not endorsed nor recommended. I figure that through time listening repeatedly to this track, a whole new level of clean clarity could be discovered.

wow... this is pure art!

My wife and I took a 1600mi drive along the BIG 5 National Parks in UT, last year June. This is the view, tranquility, solace, bonding and serenity we felt for the next 14 days. We’ve been to so many countries and places around the world, walked, drove, travelled, hiked but the view and the feeling in this trip were just mind blowing - it was one of the top three trips of our lives, till date!
