@@lonejohnwolf it really is a lucky bowling ball because you can do a third of the tasks just with the ball alone. By the time you have to leave it on the carpet, you shouldn't need it anymore, or you would in which the carpet disappears or you ultimately have to tryhard it.

In the grand scheme of the story, the kid's been reliving all the deaths over and over again even before we start the game. When we start the game she just so happens to start writing about her loops in her diary for the sake of narrating to us, the audience. So lore-wise the child has grown numb to the horrors and is just trying to figure out how to stop them.

In addition to the previous comment, she basically has a restarting point where even if they currently died, they'll live again anyway

That might be because she lived through this exact day hundreds of times already by the time the game starts, so she's become completely numb to everything. It's a nice touch.

@@agh3568 prevent the hand from grabbing her, make sure she doesnt slip on the water. Although, i havent seen anyone actually complete a run that "saves" her. There is a way to save your entire family, but so far ive only seen one run to where she survives at the end of a run
