@@redsruby We will probably hit Zettabyte Storage Levels in commercial video recording studios within the next 25-35 Years with the rate at which things are continuing to progress. It will not ramp up as quickly short term because we are starting to use more ingenious ways of storing, compressing and saving data, but we will eventually need larger physical storage capacity and so that's when Exabyte and Zetabyte size storage configurations will start to appear. Long-term we are only at the start of the digital age, the very start, and theirs a lot more to come going forwards. Consumers will have access to 100TB drives by the end of this next decade, they may not be mechanical, but they will be available.

if this is exponential growth then his storage doubles every three years from petabyte project #1 to petabyte project #2. The amount of total storage in the world in 2009 was 4.7×10^21 bits He would need 5.9*10^5 petabytes of storage. At this rate of doubling every three years, in 54.5 years he will have more data horded than the entire world in 2009. Exabyte project around 2050 at this rate Zetabyte project around 2080 at this rate

It's not out of the realm of understanding though that the theoretical father was an older man when having the theoretical child. It's just more probable that, with the timeline OP provided, the child may in fact be asking their granddad this question instead of their father. Maybe I assumed too much about the child and the father's age though. My instinct is to assume that since only one kid was mentioned, it must be their only child. It is reasonable that Parker could make 10million from ad revenue and or specific endorsements on the channel. Influencers can make 100k a post with a few million followers. @@MarkGast He may be god's tech support but that he doesn't know he can automate entering the devices with a bash shell kind of worries me. Anthony is literally the most awesome person at lmg. Also you could use a different filament with a higher melting point. I'd use nylon or carbon fiber. That's what I use for high temp. Applications

The difference is: If you use a 5 year old laptop, you probalby don't have the money to replace it. So you are gentle with it, to not brick it... Linus however... He just calls a sponsor and the next day he has a new mainboard... (maybe he has to pay for it, but he has the money to spend on it)

Love the memory hack uh fix. I did the same thing with a number 2 yellow pencil with the eraser end pushing on the memory stick. I cut it to fit the space. It was still there when I donated the IBM 55sx. They had Sucky plastic on the memory slots.

literally IT in a nutshell. We've been planning an upgrade to our phone system for nearly a year now. But due to system failures, and Firewall firmware update corruption. It's held us back for SO LONG!! Best part is, we planned the upgrade for nearly 3 months before implementing it. Morale of the story, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP PLAN CAUSE SHIT WILL GO WRONG! *Even if you plan for 3 months* :P Also don't get me started on the planning of moving Domain controllers and File Storage from one old company to another..... It's been two years..... and I've only been there for 11 Months xD
