bit confused there's DIRECTV satellite or with Gemini air. over wi-fi 2-year contract, also there's DIRECTV stream with different pckg less cheap with no contract if interested with DirectTV is there a separate app for each if there's still a 2-year contract.

Yeah DirecTV can be a little confusing with all of the name changes over the years for the streaming service. Also with the 2 year commitment and ARS fees. Check out the video we did recently about the differences. There are also links to the stream only website and the one that has over Internet and satellite options. bit confused you have DIRECTV satellite or internet also DIRECTV stream. when download DirectTV app is it the same package as DirecTV without Gemini air does it still have a 2-year contract and rsn fees with ultimate pckg can you cancel anytime?

Direct TV Over Internet and Satellite have the 2 year agreement and ARS fee (advanced receiver fee) for the Gemini device. DirecTV stream does not have a 2 year agreement and you can bring your own device. If you have DirecTV stream you can use your own device like a Roku, Fire Tv, Google Tv, or Apple Tv. Also you can cancel anytime with DirecTV stream.

how do you erase stuff from library in new format?

If you navigate to My Library go to All DVR Recordings. Once you select that your recorded content shows and there you can delete by selecting the trash icon on the far right. For bookmarked shows you do the same thing which is also under the My Library section.

Eventually the U-verse brand will be gone. They are focusing more on fiber still and now fixed wireless. U-verse kind of has the DSL image attached to it..

It can't just be me DirecTV streams Hulu Live TV Fubo TV And sling TVAll use the same design for their Home ScreenIt is absolutely hideous and a horrible design

Good eye there. There is a similar look. It appears they are all trying to find a look that works best. If you don't care for it too much this will not be the last adjustment. 😉
