Ive never killed a sim. I tried really hard once, aged her up all the way, got rid of all her needs, put her in a freezing pool in the snow After like 5 mins of computer lag later i felt really bad and helped her Shes now the nan in my main game and still isnt dead

At this point I feel like the great 'depth' that Sims 4 sims supposedly have (according to EA and Maxis) have most to do with their constant inner struggle of wanting to die but not being able to cause dying in this game sometimes literally requires hours of player intervention. I feel like I would have skewed these findings because I would have created a similar layout to her and got the results and then added a bed in each room see if that makes a difference. Then repeat a third time but only add beds in the rooms without smoke alarms to see if Sims are lazy and will use the easier ovens which would change depending on where they slept

I think a neat video idea would be a battle royale or bachelor type challenge. Fill a house with Sims and either see who can survive the longest, or who can progress their romantic relationship the fastest without anyone controlling them.
