I have a thought about Don being sent to the past. So Dina and Nina had a plan: get rich. Dina would romance Mortimer, but to convince him, they needed Bella gone. When Bella visits Don to welcome him to the town, Nina and Dina use the opportunity to whisk her away via connections. Now Bella is gone. Mortimer falls for Dina and Don and Nina play each other. Don, being the Casanova he is, also romances Dina and Kaylynn. What Nina doesn’t know can’t hurt her right? WRONG! They find out that Don played them both, BUT WAIT! They’re not even his favorites? The sisters can forgive each other because sisterly love, but to like someone else more than the 🔥CALIENTE🔥SISTERS? NEVER! They could always whisk Kaylynn away like Bella but is she really at fault? I will say the sims 4 did good with the sentiments bc now when things happen they can hold grudges and be sad and all that jazz so that pops up even when you still talk to the sim. Yea it's not as great as like the sims 3 for ex. because when doing something to a sim, they will never wanna hear from you ever again, but that also makes it hard for the player if they want that sim still in the story. So im fine with the sims 4 on this lol

get together is fr game-changing if you want the worlds to feel more populated. i use mccc as well so the clubs are always full, then basically create a club for every public lot, and they always tend to show up when im out with my sims.

I don’t know if someone else pointed it out but Van Haunt Estate also seems to carry some resemblance to the Overlook hotel from Stephen King's The Shining. It's a story about haunted hotel with many more or less vicious ghosts of people who died in it. The hotel is in mountains so it gets snowned in and inaccessible in the winter so a man called Jack is hired as a custodian. He comes to the hotel with his wife and son. Jack is an aspiring writer but also has an alcohol problem and a bad temper. As the story progresses, he gets more and more crazy and eventually goes after his family trying to kill them. In the end the hotel ends up burning down and Jack dies (I believe in the book he died in the fire, in the movie he froze to death trapped in the maze). The ghosts, the fire, the massive estate, the maze, the Overlook name and a struggling artist that went crazy all seems to be connecting elements.
