1:51 To be fair, that's what you're trained to do in a robbery situation - Just let them take what they're going to take and worry about recovering it later. Some perfume or whatever isn't worth your life, and they could be armed and/or aggressive. Spend the time memorizing as many details about the thieves as you can instead.

@Bruce Roberts I don't think it was actually flying out of the room; it just seems to disappear as it is too small to be visible against the bright window once it flies by the darker curtain. My guess is that the lady has a small pet bird (budgie, finch, etc.) that was sitting on top of its cage. When a bird like that startles, it just flies off in whatever direction it was facing.
