Did you know that Jin auditioned to make his mother proud of him and so that his mom would have something to brag off to those judgmental neighbors they have. He worked hard on his vocals yet people called him talentless. Did you know that Namjoon worked hard just to produce songs yet there was a time when his mom ruined his computer and broke his mike so he could focus on studying? Did you know that Hoseok auditioned because he wanted his father to be proud of him? Because he felt like he was a disappointment? Those rookie days where they only listen to the awardings and be amazed by their seniors. They can't do anything but to watch those idols who receives the awards. The days when they were happy with just 300 views on UKposts, mini fangatherings, small numbers of followers, and one Daesang award. They were contented. And now they've reached to the top and became more successful. From 150 fans to 6M and counting, From a small practice room to a bigger one, From cramped dorm with roommates to big dorm with each of them having a room, From one daesang award to more awards and they've even won on BBMAs. BTS never expected this before their fourth year anniversary, they've come so far- so far that the only chance we have to see them is to go to their concertor (NEVER) meet them along the street with 0.01% chance. Since everyone is commenting on their story I might as well too, I said this in the previous video, but I just wanna tell people how much BTS can change lives... When I was a child, I only knew death, too many people around me that I loved died. I made it a habit at a young age to never let anyone truly get close to me, that led to me being very antisocial. The only true friend I had was my cousin, who was like a sister to me, she was 2 years older than me, and she always taught me to stand up for myself. When I was 7 my grandma passed away after heart failure due to her heart surgery, that was only the start of my separation anxiety over people leaving me, then 3 years later I stopped hearing from my cousin, this is where the true story begins. I was only 10 when I found BTS, I remember it extremely clearly, I was sitting at my desk in 2014 browsing my youtube when I spotted vibrant Orange hair, I look at the thumbnail and see Taehyung better known as V, it was the MV for Boy in Luv, I remember vaguely that it had come out 6 or 7 hours beforehand if my memory hasn't failed me. I was intrigued as to why this was in my youtube feed as I had never looked anything up that was remotely similar to this video, out of curiosity I clicked the video and fell in love with their music, and the way they presented themselves. As time went on though I started becoming more depressed, I was self-conscious about myself both inside and out. I stopped drawing pictures, I stopped smiling, I stopped eating (mostly) and I stopped being confident in myself and my appearance. By then I was a huge fan of BTS and listened to all their songs new and old, and watched all the videos and bangtan bombs when in 2016, I was struck with terrible news, my cousin who I thought of like my sister and only friend... died, overdosed on pills. I was a wreck, I stopped doing anything that somewhat kept me sane, the only thing I had was BTS as if they could save me from this hell even if it was for a short period of time... then, a year later they released their Love Yourself campaign. All of a sudden, as I watched Namjoon's speeches, I slowly realized what I was doing wasn't healthy, I needed to stop. after 4 long hard months, I managed to get myself put back together, even though I have episodes, and I forget to eat occasionally, I'm fine now... so now whenever I look at BTS, I see my real teachers. The ones who taught me what it means to be human. Sometimes, there are things that overwhelm my pain. Sometimes, I almost forget my pain exist. Sometimes, everything seems to be beautiful. The sky at night is beautiful. The oak in front of my house is beautiful. The wind, eternal, is beautiful. The ends and beginnings are beautiful. Sometimes it's a beautiful story. Not all the time, of course. I can't forget about the pain. Maybe it's beautiful because of that.

When I first listened to BTS, I was about 8 yrs old. I was going through a very hard time in my life. I had just lost my great Grandma, whom I was very close to, even though she lived in Mexico and was only able to see her during summer vacation. The first song I heard was, Boy In Luv. I listened to it in Korean the first time I heard it, and the I put the English subtitles the second time. I fell in love with the song. Even if the only time I was able to listen to their music when I used my moms phone. After a while, I wasn’t able to listen to it anymore, and I cant really remember the reason why. I went through my hardest times of depression through some years. My mom would put a lot of pressure on me at the time, and still does today. I was being bullied by both my classmates and my teachers. My dad was never around, and his family didn’t really like me for some reason. The only person I could count on was my best friend at the time, but even she decided that popularity as more important than friendship. I kept thinking that being gone form the face of the earth was better for everyone and for me, but then a girl that I was aquatinted with in my reading class, was playing a song that sounded very familiar to me. Then, I was able to listen to BTS again. They helped me overcome my depression, and love myself for who I am. They made me smile when I was sad and mad about something. And before I knew it, I had a lot of love from the people around me. Even my dad started to be with me and my family more. Knowing about BTS has helped me a lot in my life, and still does. I just wish that I could’ve kept listening to them when I was going through depression. Thank you BTS for making me smile, and teaching me how to love and be myself. I have been an army for 3 years now. BTS and this fandom has taught me to love myself, be myself...I have never felt this peace before...sitting on my balcony, looking down at the empty streets with the cool wind touching my face and the crisp of the sunlight on my face and BTS pianos... 💜 😌....I'll work hard and be with you ALWAYS! I’m crying reading all of these other heart felt comments. And all I have to bring to the table is my disgusting life. I’m always disappointed with myself. I struggle with depression and social anxiety. I also had about a year where I would starve myself as much as I could because I told myself I was fat and a disappointment to my family. Eventually I was eating as little to only a small bowl of plain rice or cereal a day telling others that I already ate. This was one of the lowest points of my life. I was proud of myself for starving myself. It never occurred to me at the time how toxic this was. At some point both of my younger siblings ate more than me not because they were fat or overeating but because I was eating less and less. I found the dangers of this and it took months for me to stop. Many people don’t know this but after staving yourself as a routine and randomly feeding your body again doesn’t immediately help. At first it’s absolutely horrible. You get put into the worst state of mind and actually put on more weight forcing you to want to starve yourself again. The voice inside is constantly telling you “I can help you just come back and do it again. It will work.” Not to mention the fact that I kept this hidden from every person I knew. My family, my teachers, my friends, and others. In fact I even told myself every night “Smile in front of the camera, sob behind the scenes.” I still am self conscious of myself, my physical appearance, and my personality. But it’s much better than it was before. Heck I’m now able to say what I’ve been keeping to my self for years in fear of my family and friends falling into depression because of me to a bunch of people on the Internet. All I want to say is..Thank you BTS! I went from hating myself to trying to care for my body. Again For helping a random stranger get through all of that all I have to say is..thank you. 💙💜💙💜 I am ARMY for life. And forever in debt. (Oh and another thing..suicide doesn’t stop the pain. It just passes it on to somebody else)

Bts make me learn everything about Korean culture including Korean language. They also taught me to respect others and being myself. Bts also taught me to keep being polite and humble even tho u reach the top. The reason I still stay with bts is because they taught me many things. helloo, im writing this knowing no one will probably ever find this comment but im bored and felt like writing sth which i havent done in a very long time. im a new army i have to admit, only been one for 1.5 months but i've been aware of bts' existence for many years bc my best friend has known them since 2013. the quote "you didnt find bts, bts found you when you needed them the most" is actually true for both of us. i dont know any other armys. i dont have many friends and dont know what the future holds for me, never been as anxious before. but bts really came at the right time for me. im too lazy to explain more tbh lol, but its good to know that people like bts are out there. proud army here. since i've always felt like telling my story is pointless, i dont know what else to write. there is so much i would like to tell bts, my bias and even armys (ot7 with a bias alright lol). not sure for how much longer i will stand the life im living, but thanks to bts i have the slightest hope, very weak but its there. im genuinely so lost and no one ever offers to help but tells me everything is my fault. look i know myself really well, i know my worth but honestly its impossible to live here, even if i have a really strong spirit. with the situation im living in, i doubt im gonna find light at the end of the tunnel soon enough. lets hope for a future that isnt as unbearable. saranghae.

I love their humbleness despite being so popular with enormous attention from every corner. I watched this talkshow Ellen to be precise, this point i came to see how polite RM was to speak as the leader and so the rest just let him point out what was the best without them tryin' to interrupt as maybe lacking on the language as well. But the second episode to the same talkshow years after i'm quite proud of their cappability and effortness as them showing improvement to master the foreign language with some of them finally tryin to voice out. Maybe i came late to notice them, but its good to know their music with some meaningfull lyrics do helps some of the army to face their life problems wisely.

I cry everyday but i have no one to talk to, my dad and mum dont know how much pressure they have given to me and they never understand how i feel. The saddest part of being an army is your'e so broke, and can't come to there fanmeeting and concerts especially knowing that they have to leave kpop because they're having a family. You're broke , broken. But the boys you loved helped you to escape sadness and everything you struggle with. Even tho your friends and family does'nt support your because they say that kpop can't help you with your studies, your life, but they does. They helped you to love yourself when you're feeling unloved , they help you to understand what is the meaning of loving yourself than loving anyone who can't love you back. I remember the first time when I first saw BTS very clearing. My baby sitter was an ARMY and she loved BTS soooo much and she would always like to talk about them to me. I always listened to her but never really got into it. One day my sister told me about them too and she showed me the IDOL music video. Instantly I feel in love with that song🥰 It was like nothing I have seen before! I was inspired😍😍😍I wanted to here more of their songs, so I did! Мм потрясающая группа Бтс. Сейчас мы слушаем шедевры мелодии, без слов и голосов. Только музыкальные инструменты. Но в голове мы слышим, как они поют ту или иную песню. Не возможно забыть эти оболденные голоса, их исполнение.. Голоса Бтс уникальные по своему, только у них получается так классно петь песни. Думаю новый год без них будет немного скучновато. Они же зажигалочки, а их сейчас в Корее нет, служат в армии. Лишь одни воспоминания остались, как наши солнышки и любимки, наши звёздочки зажигали,потому что не могли так просто стоять. Были заводилами. Как я обожаю этих парней, в каждом из них своя уникальная изюминка, которая привлекает нас.. Они очень интересные во всём, конечно задорные, шалуны и приколисты. Но этим они больше к себе притягивают и манят, иначе нельзя. А какие красавцы, обоятельные, очаровательные, секси. Так возмужал за эти года, выросли во всём. Много работали над собой, что мы сейчас видим. Но мне нравится, то что они к своей работе относятся очень серьёзно, пока не достигнут лучших результатов не будут исполнять песню,. А как танцуют божечки, не возможно глаз отвести,при чем всё 👍😉😀. Пишут песни да какие вау. Во всем помогают друг другу, вот она истенная семья Бтс. Я верила, верю и буду верить им. Они даже в армии радуют своими достижениями.. Ну скажите как не любить их. Ребята слушая эти шедевры мелодии, я отдыхала душой. Пока слушала такая теплота и ходила, что то родное. My friends introduced me to this amazing group and since then I started to admire them as a different level of artists. Oh, my god I started to cry because when I was listening to this song it brought up a lot of memories about my friend and I couldn't stop crying so if you want to read my story then I will write it all down. So once I meet one boy in 4th grade. He and I became really great friends and I was best friends with his sister. His sister and I hung out like a lot and the 5th grade came it was really fun because he was in my class and we sat almost next to each other. and then I meet another boy we became best friends we talked a lot he would listen to all my problems. So he was like a brother to me and My other best friend I met in 4th grade changed but we were still best friends I had a lot of great memories with him and I If got to choose which memories were the best ones I would choose all of them. So when 6th grade came things started to change me and my second boy best friend ( that I meet in 5th grade) started to hang out a lot and with another boy which was mu other best friend well the third one. We were that brothers and sister I was the only sister we gave high fives, hugged, play around too much, we would talk to each other every time, sit next to each other, and wouldn't let each other down. So then I forgot about my best friend that I met in 4th grade. He would always ask me if we were still friends and I wouldn't answer so I let him down. let us skip to the part I was sad. So it was a Friday, it was the last day until Thanksgiving break the whole sixth-grade class watched a movie. And I sat with my best friend. Once the movie ended we left school I was too focused on one of my best friends that will come back once the break was over. But I forgot about one of my best friends the one I meet in 4th grade. He was going to leave forever so that meant I couldn't see him ever again so I was sad and From up til now I am writing this I'm sad and I want people to hear this and to never let down your best friend as I did. I want to say sorry, but now I am depressed because of this. I MISS HIM SO MUCH. AND THE FACT THAT I WILL NEVER SEE HIM MAKES ME SO SO SAD. And I am grateful that I had him in my life. I'm seeing a lot of people coming here because they're struggling and I'm no different. I'm having trouble to sleep. It might seem nothing but actually I have a lot going on. I have depression, anxiety and Autophobia for which it's hard to sleep. That's why I'm here but I'm not going to share my sorrows. I'm here to say something that I think will help you. Life is a journey. Whether it's long or short it depends on you. I know life is hard, disappointing and sometimes it's just a horrible roller coaster ride. And it's ok to not to be ok at times but it's not ok to be absorbed by those words. Find happiness. Doesn't matter who supports you and who doesn't. It's your life. Live it the way you want. Ik we have bindings and it's never easy to make it to your dream. I know rejections hurt. I know that there's a fear of getting trapped but that actually depends on you. On your perspective of life. If you try to fill it with positivity slowly but surely your life will be better but if you fill it with negativity it'd be nothing but darkness always and quickly. Take your decisions when you have time. It's ok to think but don't overthink. A negative life only brings sadness, disgusting and awful longevity with boredom. And a positive life creates happiness, burning passion, confidence and all the good things on earth. And lastly, listen to critics not haters.
