I just ordered the Segway Ninebot D40X today because of your detailed review, Scheduled to be delivered on Oct 12th. I cant wait to use it for quick neighborhood commutes and especially to visit my mom in her nursing facility. Gas has been insane recently and I cant justify using my car to drive 4.5 miles from my home to her and to the market for quick shopping.

E-Bike Better: Range/Mileage (Unlimited if you pedal...once a scooter battery dies, you walking) Exercise Safer/Safety (Scooter easy to fall off) More Comfortable riding (Sitting down > Standing) Faster than a scooter for the same price range Scooter better: Compact/easy to store Not easy to Steal/Steal parts off of (Bike parts are constantly stolen) Faster overall (Some scooters go 96 mph) Tire Don't get flat as easy as bikes Don't get tired or sweaty from pedaling

you have to use your feet to pedal with the bike if you want to go the max speed , especially if you want to go up any hills with a rear drive motor without having to get off and push it up

Just bought the Rambler 20 from best buy. I like that it sort of looks like a motor cycle but you can pedal as well. Big wheels are a plus! Let's just hope it goes fast enough.

Team Unicycles. Once you go EUC you never go back... But if had to choose between e-scooter and e-bike, I will go e-scooter...I rode a regular bicycle for 10 years as main source of transportation and can't see myself getting another bicycle, even with a motor
