Galvanised metal conduit is used in many different types of electrical installation. In recent years it's become popular as an industrial style design in bars, cafes and offices. When looks matter this multiple conduit saddle from Condubits steps in.
These 20 and 25mm distance saddles can accept twin, triple and quad conduit runs in to one saddle. This reduces the number of wall fixings and gives a neater appearance. Perfectly spaced conduit for runs in to electrical accessories.
In this video we used a back from the Hamilton Metal Clad grid range.

That is the point. The conduit is at ground potential, if there is a short to ground on the conduit or any connected boxes, the low impedance to ground insures the OCPD will trip in a timely manner. That is so sweet. I especially love the super flat socket wrench. I would so love to see conduits similar to these planned for internal walls (especially pre-fab wall sections). And, not just for electrical cabling, but audio/visual & data network cabling too. A long, long time ago I had to install unplanned data cabling for an ethernet connection in a near new house. First, I had to rent a grinder wheel brick cutter, then carve a vertical groove through the gyprock & into the brickwork (making a hell of a mess, 'cause I don't have a portable shop vacuum), drill a hole through the cornicing/ceiling, install plastic tubing in the groove, run Ethernet cabling through it, as well as fixing more tubing/cabling across in the roof cavity (⊚), then repeat everything in reverse, down to the new wall socket/s. All before patching up the plastering & repainting two entire walls. (before this, they'd had 30 (?) meters of cat5 cable running down two hallways, under two doors & cable nailed to skirting boards. Moral of the story: *_Planning & installing all internal wall components before/during construction is far, far better/easier than having to add anything in later._* ⊚ - nb: In Summer. In Australia. It would have been about 45°C (115°F) in the roof space, with the colourbond roof above hot enough to scar.
