Agreed! She has her own sound and style. I appreciate that she isn't trying to be compared to her grandma, she wants to be her own artist. She shows that every time she performs. Something that Katy doesn't understand when she tries to get her to belt. She doesn't need that to impress people. She's very focused on emotions of the songs. I'm rooting hard for her. Loretta would be very proud of her.

For the first time ever, I relate to a performer. I used to be a competitive figure-skater and that’s what my body would do every show and competition. It was so hard to be in front of people and I always felt so alone in my nervousness. It’s amazing to see her get through the song while trembling the way she was. Hope she is proud of what she accomplished !

I love her song! I'm a big fan of Emmy. This wasn't my favorite performance from her, but she still sounded fantastic regardless. I could honestly see her making the finale if she keeps picking smart song choices. She's radio ready and very marketable. Loretta would be proud of her.
