I am "only" 9 years older than you and from my experience it is kind of hard to find younger people, especially Gen Z (how they are called) who are rock fans. With Millennials and older it is a bit different though. What I never understood it why Rock disappeared from the mainstream area. I do love pop music but in my eyes pop music declined and is getting worse. I guess a lot of us are pleased that Maneskin won and that Rock music is again there where it belongs. Also it is a nice new breeze of fresh air. I hope the 20s of this century will be full of different genres again, like the 90s used to be :D

I watched the live show with my friends and I’m the only one who speaks Italian so I was the only one who picked up on it. The funniest part is that they don’t know that I speak Italian so looked really concerned when I randomly got excited/started laughing. So then I had to explain that he said grab your balls and that’s why Victoria is laughing too. I also admitted that I know bcos I speak Italian and then they were shocked like “what so you’re just sitting there understanding all the lyrics” and I’m like yuppp and then had to translate for them 😂

It's still kind of odd they removed juries from the semis but not the finals. It feels like it should the other way around, because they do serve the purpose of stopping everything degrading into drag comedy karaoke like it did in the late 00s and early 10s. You do NOT want Eurovision to downspiral into that again.
