Every Blender Modeler NEEDS to Know this Bevel Tip! (Beveling Edges)

In this video, learn how you can use the Bevel tool to add symmetrical supporting edges in Blender. This can be very helpful for adding supporting geometry in a fixed distance on either side of an existing edge!

For this what i do is make two loops and scale them in one axis. This will make perfect loops from both sides.

for the equally spaced loopcuts I use the ctrl R, scroll twice and scale both loops on an axis with pivot point set to "bounding box center" or 3d cursor if it's set to the center of the mesh. This slides both loops equally from the center. Of course, ctrl B on one loopcut also works.

Oh my goodness! I never thought of using Bevel that way! I always have a hard time making things even with just adding a loop cut. This is brilliant. Thank you.
