@@jsloime5803 The Browns and Cowboys have the same amount of road playoff wins since Dallas won its last Super Bowl is basically what I'm saying. The Browns left Cleveland for Baltimore after the 1995 season, but made a comeback in 1999.

I had to double check that fact because there's no way that could possibly be true and as I was going through the list of NFC teams I kept saying, "they've been there, they've been there, they've been there, they've been there..." and bust out laughing when I reached the last team because this is 100% fact. Romo's botched snap in 2006 really was the beginning of the modern "spectacular" Cowboys playoff losses. Before it was just the fading dynasty team of the early 90's.

I mean, our team still good. So it dont matter. So many good teams dont advance every year, in fact they usually advance in a year where they mediocre. Atleast we wont have to win another Superbowl for the next 10 years and still be Top 5 in SB wins. So what if its in the past. And yeah it sucks seeing your team lose in the playoffs, but something tells me that for the nost part, all of the refs dont like the Cowboys. Even considering a lot of fans think they on our side. Second season. That 96' Cowboys team was missing half an all-pro team in that game. The Cowboys were very capable of stealing the 96' SB if they remained relatively healthy.

@otaviofrn_adv I think GB would have finally beat us at Lambeau as well. Still, Dallas had absolutely owned GB, and we still matched up very well against them. Our 1996 was very reminiscent of this years Cheifs team, except they stayed relatively healthy. High powered offense lost a step, both carried by elite defenses. I was including Irvin in my comment about missing half an all-pro team. He only played part of our first series.

I love this video and all the changes of the broadcast technology. 2007 was the best with the score on the top of the screen looked amazing. However, Dez caught that ball against GB. I HATE the cowboys more than anyone on this planet.... But he took THREE (3) steps with possession.... I hate that for the cowboys, he caught that ball. Thank u Neil o donnel for giving the cowboys that title. However since Neil o donnel left the NFL the cowboys haven’t gotten anywhere close to another Super Bowl and wont until Jerry Jones is gone being the only top executive or when he passes on. I don’t care for the Cowboys and never really will but that recent playoffs loss should have been the writing on the wall for Jerry Jones to give up being the GM/President/Owner of the Cowboys. These middle aged diehards that are still supporting and loving everything about him need to stop buying the merch,jerseys and other Cowboy stuff because you are enabling him to keep on doing this futility and I think my team the Steelers are struggling at least we have made to several conference title games since 1995 than the cowboys.

Dak Prescott has been given more a of a supporting cast than most QBs see in their career. He always has an elite top tier OLine, a TE, at least one stud WR1 and running game that DCs had to also gameplan for - and he STILL can't deliver in big spots. Imagine if he wasn't surrounded by all that talent Jerry game him. What else do people need to see after 8 seasons of this?

The defense has given up 26.14 points per game in Dak playoff games, and in losses they give up 29.4 points per game. And the “Dak is a bad playoff performer” statement isn’t really true. You’re kinda ignoring incredible games against Green Bay in 2016, Seattle in 2018, and Tampa in 2022. He also had a serviceable a game against Los Angeles in 2018 and a mid game against San Fransisco in 2021. He’s had 2 legitimately bad performances and the Green Bay one didn’t matter anyways cause the defense couldn’t stop anything.

Not really. Going into this past Wild Card game, the Packers and Cowboys were tied in their postseason matchups. Cowboys owned the 9ers in the 90's. Recency bias is real.

As a Cowboy fan it's hard to say which loss hurt the most. The Cardinal fiasco looms large given the history of that franchise, their first playoff win in a half century came at Texas Stadium (?!?!?). The Romo FG fumble was agonizing with victory so close. The wasted 2007 season losing to the Giants was WTF after Dallas was blowing its horn all season long with high expectations, 12-13 wins, home field and Jessica Simpson complacency. The loss to a good Rams' team didn't seem all that painful being in LA, nor was the Aaron Rodgers last second heroics. Being down 27-0 to the Pack on their home field after 12 wins has to be near the top though.

I would say the NYG loss in 07 hurt most. Because Dallas had swept them. And the game came down to the final second with Dallas having a real chance to win. This years game was over quick
