You might add another one after tonight (January 14, 2023). The Los Angeles Chargers just finished blowing a 27-0 lead to lose 30-31 to the Jaguars at Jacksonville. After throwing 4 interceptions in the first half of his postseason debut (three in the first quarter), No. 1 draft pick Trevor Lawrence led his team on a comeback in which he threw 4 TD passes and set the Jags up for a game-winning field goal as time expired. The Chargers only scored 3 points in the second half, and DL Joey Bosa helped the Jaguar offense with two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.
@lomarsweed6604
@lomarsweed6604 Рік тому
Bosa had a legitimate gripe too on the holding that wasn't called, not to mention the guy who held appeared to also have jumped early and yet no false start penalty.
@10Peter25

@@lomarsweed6604 Even if all that is true, Bosa can't control the officials. He needs to focus on controlling what he can control: his composure. He didn't do that, and it helped his team lose.

@@davidthosome623 people so quick to say burfict cost the bengals that game clearly didn’t watch jeremy hill fighting for extra yards only to fumble when all he had to do was go down. If gio hadn’t been speared in the jaw by shaziers helmet it would’ve been him in that spot most likely. Then Joey porter a Steelers coach was standing on the bengals sideline with a bunch of bengals players after the Antonio brown hit which he should’ve gotten flagged for. Instead, Pac-Man Jones got flagged for touching a ref adding another 15 yards to the already 15 yard penalty from burfict. It was literally the perfect storm of things going wrong. As a Bengals fan, choking in 2015 was so much worse than losing Carson Palmer in 2005. After Palmer's injury, there was still hope moving forward with a franchise QB and one of the better receiving corps in the league. I love how the commentators were criticizing the music city miracle lateral, but that was 100 percent a lateral. a better view showed that it was a backward pass and that it was just the certain angle that made it look like it wasnt. 100 percent a lateral.
@camicawber
@camicawber 6 місяців тому
I assume those were the Bills announcers. The TV guys said it looked like a forward pass until they saw the replay and saw that it was, in fact, a lateral. ...But the thing is, even the Bills announcers would've had a TV in their booth, right? They were broadcasting on the radio, but they would've had the ability to see TV replays, wouldn't they? Because when you see the replay from that one angle, it is absolutely clear that the pass travels backwards. Not by a lot, but Wycheck releases the ball at about the 26, and Dyson catches it just past the 25. Definitely a lateral.

To the average fan, the Detroit Lions 2014 Wild Card loss against the Cowboys might not seem like some crazy, heartbreaking loss. But let me tell you that absolutely deserves to be on this list. Just imagine being a fan of a team who’s won 1 playoff game since the 1960’s. And then you have the most talented roster you’ve ever had. And then on top of that you are playing better than the other team that day, but get absolutely screwed by a pass interference flag that was originally called but then rescinded. Then you have to watch the best defense your team has ever had surrender a game winning drive to Tony Romo and America’s team… Still the worst sports loss of my life 😂

My first full season of watching NFL football was in 1970, after watching only SB III, was my hometown Detroit Lions vs @ the Dallas Cowboys, the Lions being the lone WC team in the NFC, and the Miami Dolphins the lone AFC WC entrant. The Lions starting QB was Greg Landry vs Cowboys' Craig Morton. Both the Lions and Cowboys had great defenses, but the Cowboys were better on offense. Despite that, the Lions' D limited the Cowboys to only a FG, while the Cowboys' D kept the Lions' O from even crossing the 50 yd line!! The Lions finally switched QBs late in the game to the veteran Bill Munson, but too late as time ran out before the offense could make it into the Cowboys' red zone. Game ended by one of the lowest final scores possible w/o either team scoring a TD...5-0 on a FG & safety. Cowboys went on to win the NFC CC vs @ SF 49ers, but lost SB V to the Baltimore Colts. Lions would not sniff the playoffs again until the early 80s, while the Miami Dolphins who also lost to the Oakland Raiders in their WC game, would go on to having what still is the only perfect season in the SB era 2 years later. Epilogue...little did I know back then @ age 13, how gawd-awful the Lions franchise would become over the next half-century, winning their division only twice, and winning only ONE playoff game in 1991. Shit rolls downhill and I blame the only constant during that time...being the now late owner William Clay Ford!! He picked the worst GMs and team presidents, then retained them looong past when it was obvious to everyone BUT him that each one was utterly incompetent. Thankfully his daughter Sheila Ford Hamp is the polar opposite, a shrewd, competitive, and competent franchise owner...I just wish that she would have that WCF memorial removed from their Lions jersey sleeves...he never earned or deserved it.

I wasn’t born when Colts left Baltimore but know all about from people who still get emotional talking about ( When Indianapolis comes to Baltimore they won’t write or say “ Colts “ on scoreboard or any local broadcast ; no one will ever get over it) And when Browns came to Baltimore & became Ravens, I remember thinking how horrible it was to City of Cleveland. I’m sorry that happened even though you have Texans now I understand it not being same. Warren Moon is another All - Time Great QB that’s not talked about as much as he should be.

It effected me differently i also remember the very next year 93 - 94 season that joe montana and the chiefs delivered us another crushing defeat in the divisional playoffs and then eventually moving to Tennessee only to go to the super bowl the following year it crushed me as a fan i had two favorite teams growing up the Houston Oilers and anyone who could beat the dallas cowboy's

Loved those Oilers back then when Warren Moon and Earl Campbell were playing...Great teams..sucked when they moved.

The NFL used to be so much more gritty. Grass fields with actual tackling, and actual animosity and pride between the teams.

Gosh, that titans comeback was devastating, cuz kelce got hurt right before halftime. And the offense shut down to the titans cover 2 and shutting down hill.

I was 7 when the giants lost to the vikings up 9 with 2:31 left in the 1997 wild card game. Was the first time I ever cried at sports. I’ll never forget what my Dad said with tears running down my face “Son, you are now officially a Giants fan, get used to it!”

I feel you, man! I grew up a diehard Giants fan in Somerset County, NJ and was in attendance for this game. I was 14 at the time, but had very faint memories of Super Bowl 25 in that moment. It was literally half my life ago at that point. I had to deal with all the 90s dynasty bandwagon Cowgirls fans in school and everywhere else and was desperate for Giants success at that point. This game tested your mettle! You get older, and you get some broader perspective, and you realize 25 other teams' fanbases would kill for the 4 Super Bowl titles, but the Giants have had their fair share of shitty, devastating moments. Without a doubt!!

@@BigJared2 Hah! i’m from Middlesex county, and I was too young to remember the cowboys dynasty when they were winning. And you’re right! To have beaten the patriots twice in the superbowl, we 100% are fortunate, as it could always be worse as a browns or texans fan haha

U guys got your revenge against us in that NFC championship game 😂😂 in 2000… 41-0 then along came the Ravens so better u than us 😂😂

@@dts_8247 Man, that 41-0 was the most one sided game ever. I remember being nervous going into it, and the giants defense absolutely suffocated the vikings. Yesterday was pretty sweet too :)

@@jasonisrael8849 yeah but as a Vikings fan I always chop it up as “well it’s the Vikings” lol What do u think the Giants are doing to do with Jones? Give him a contract or not?
