Many actors are just overpaid adults who didn’t get enough attention as a child. But very few people will ever make it in show business. History is essentially just a collection of stories passed down. So is religion. Story telling is as important now as it has been since man first learned how to communicate. I would argue that people do need actors. Movies can remind us that we are all very much part of a unifying human experience that repeats the same patterns over and over again.. It shows us the beauty and the horror of the world, and reminds us that we’re not alone in it. That anything could be possible. ..maybe.
