With our PM and president you need to listen to what they say in EU and NATO. Their voters do not care what happens in those meetings, so their real stance on international political stage is visible there. Remember Munich agreement and the Sudetes? Assurances do not work. Ukraine had assurances from both Russia and the West thanks to Budapest memorandum and it meant nothing. The borders between Russia and Ukraine were ratified by the 2003 Border treaty and it meant nothing. The only outcome worth pursuing is full withdrawal of Russian army from Ukraine, everything else is abetting of illegal invasions, violence, warmongering and makes an atrocious precedent for future.
