I discovered this strange camp in the woods while out on another adventure. After verifying that the people camping there were trespassers and had been run off of the property, I decided to explore what they left behind and discovered some unlawful activity.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my UKposts "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

Exactly. I'm a veteran and I never been homeless living in the wild but I seen many who have and it's not easy but you learn the hard way about how to survive. I wouldn't survive out on the streets as I am now a type 1 diabetic. One thing to remember that no one seems to realize is that there is no such thing as homelessness. Your place of origin(where you are from) is your home. The correct term should be "without shelter" unless you have survival training and can make all the things you need by which it would be called " stealth housing". That's just how I look at it 🤷‍♂️

I was hiking recently along some rail road tracks not too deep in the woods just off a well used hiking trail came up on a wheel chair parked right against the tracks walked up to it and saw a homeless man sound asleep in this tent, 'door" wide open right next to track. he had it fixed up with make shift pantry and closet...super creepy I ran in the other direction.

My LE experience taught me to always put a hand down in the deer beds to see if they’re warm if you jumped them… takes the pressure off if they’re hot Chig…

The landowner needs to push all that junk up in a pile and burn it before the "roaches" sneak back in.

MAN, your brave to go thru that camp like you did. People living like that could be dangerous. Like the way you were tracking their movement signs. They might of built up those walls to hide their fire light from being seen. This is exactly why I am too scared to go hiking through the woods alone anymore...you never know is hiding out in them anymore. You take care. May God watch over you and keep you safe and well.✝️😌🙏

The walls were built by farmers marking their lands. I think they say from the 1800’s.

Sad I see them here too, on a public bike trail I know of a encampment and I try to tell them get rid of your trash, that's what people hate most of all. They never listen sooner or later mother nature, the weather wins over. but the set trap worries me someone might be lingering around there.

Wow that’s insane!! I’d definitely be packing heat in case you got overrun or outnumbered. That’s just not one person staying there.I have more faith and trust with the wildlife over squatters. The farmer needs to fence in his property and post signs.

hell Chigg, we all leave a lot of crap when we die. I've been getting rid of stuff every year... I don't want to leave a mess when I go. I'm like you, I dump mosquito water, try to respect whatever I find, and keep movin on...

No one ever said when I grow up I want to be homeless furthermore add illegal drugs and mental illness then their belongings or a home become back burner to the drug's and their addiction. I was a homeless military veteran because I trusted the wrong people, we ain't doing this or that life style ever again not for me. I've tried to help others where I could . However when drugs are a big part of an individual's chronic homeless issue it's darn near impossible to help . Great video Sir, keep up the good work.
