This scenario was more intense than most actual race moments. Would’ve been the perfect segment for DTS to show new fans how every single second counts in F1 in other ways than just racing, and how important the dynamic of engineers and mechanics are to a teams success, not just building a fast car.

To have done this without getting any penalties is unreal.

The moment when you suddenly know how to solve that last calculus question but there's only 10 minutes left till the exam ends.

I understand why Max loves his team so much and why he doesn't let anyone talk bad about them. What a legends, by far best mechanics on the grid. But it was funny how Max stayed with them and had to be reminded that the anthem starts in a minut and had to run for it at 3:56

Occasionally coming back to this video, just to appreciate how Red Bull is completely in a league of their own and deserves everything coming their way the past years.

The amount of coordination is amazing. Nobody is yelling. Nobody is pointing fingers. Nobody is throwing in the towel. Just teamwork.

If this isn’t what RB is all about, I don’t know what would define them otherwise. The professionalism, the teamwork, no arguing, the respect for each other, split second decisions with such precision, all of it just shapes exactly what RB stands for in my opinion. What a team of mechanics. What legends.

Next race: "Sh**, I think my engine exploded, I think I should be just about able to bring it back to the pits!" "No worries Max, we've got a new one ready, it will take 6 seconds. 7 seconds if you also need a new gearbox."

Why am I having anxiety watching this when I already know the outcome

Late to this video but what a beautiful example of a clear command structure and communication. Nobody shouting, everybody staying on task and everybody respecting the hierarchy so time isn't wasted getting in each other's way. Speaks volumes about how well the team is organized and managed and about the quality of people they have got working there.

Wow. As a newcomer to F1 I didn't realize exactly how precise these teams actually are. Masterclass communication between everyone and strong belief in one another. It's really impressive how there was no yelling, it was controlled chaos. Beautiful job, I wish there was a series like Inside Story, no drama - just real BTS stuff.

The mechanics gave Max the opportunity to get back on the grid and race , and Max delivered an outstanding performance and gave the mechanics the opportunity to say “it was all worthy “

This was more thrilling than half the episodes on Drive to Survive 3. What I take from this is that RBR can be hard and impatient and ruthless on their "second drivers" but boy oh boy it's a real team spirit that is running in that garage. Makes me respect them even more!

Thank you for this. Honestly this is the most fascinating thing I've seen on or about F1 ever. The teamwork, the professionalism, it speaks volumes about how to operate at the highest levels. It's like listening to NASA or something.

They're able to fix a suspension failure in less than 20min, meanwhile at ferrari they can't choose the right strategy

They've done what no other teams ever did in Formula 1 : Regular sub-2s pit stops; Fixing a car's suspension in 15 minutes; These guys are the best crew ever.

That pit crew worked like a Trauma 1 team or a 5 star restaurant kitchen. The coordination and calm constant communication is stunning to get something huge done fast.

I can watch this 100 times and still be amazed. What a great teamwork!

I already thought the longer video shown the repair job showed their amazing work on repairing Car 33, but with the addition of these radio messages and the sporting regs, this video took it to another level. Legendary work from the RBR mechanics!

This really puts into perspective how formula 1 is so much more than just the driver having to drive fast. There is just so much work being put down that you almost never get to see

Constructive criticism: I think it would make for a slight improvement if the name of person currently speaking was placed next to the subtitles - at the same height so to speak. Because some voices I'm very familiar with, like e.g. GP's, Wheatley's or Horner's, but there are of course a lot more people involved and it is amazing to hear them all. However, you always have too look towards the middle right to be able to see who's talking at the moment. If you wnat to read the subtitles at the same time, which is sometimes necessary due to some technical terms, it is a bit unpractical to look right, then down, then right again and so on. Anyway - this is an absolutley fantastic video! I enjoyed it a lot! Thank you for the great off-season content.

The mechanics are amazing here, but also it’s just incredible the focus max has to go from a crash to a podium, most drivers in a crash get massive confidence shakes

7:20 Poor Lee Stevenson at the front looked absolutely whacked, don't blame him or the other engineers for being knackered after that, probably one of the most high pressure situations any engineer will find themselves in on a race weekend. Amazing to watch.

If I had one of those engineers walkie-talkie, I will be screaming "shut up, and let me panic properly"

Wow. They all, including Max, knew exactly what had to be done and in what order and no one let the pressure cause them to mess up any part of it. Impressive.

The non drivers radio is always interesting, would be interesting to hear during the race when the team is discussing strategy etc

The ABSOLUTELY BEST mechanics i ever have seen in 29 years f1. But also a AMAZING performance from Max who finished 2nd. A driver and his team that really never should been split.

Actual peak performance, the fact that they actually had comms this clear through all that is testament to just how trained these guys are.

Absolutely amazing work. They should add a "Team of the day" vote in every race from next season. They would've won it by a mile and a half on that day.
