Il n y a pas que ses arrêts qui étaient impressionnants. Ses dégagements au pied et à la main l étaient tout autant. Il était souvent passeur décisif!

Ce n'est pas le palmarès qui fait que Barthez est meilleur, ce sont ses arrêts. On ne va pas se mentir, Lloris est bon, mais il est inconstant et fait souvent des erreurs un peu stupides, mais il n'a pas le même jeu que Fabien, plus démonstratif et plus décisif.

Don’t make this mistake! Barthez is one of the greatest! I definitely agree height helps, but it’s definitely not the be all or end all, it merely determines style of play as opposed to success mate.
