It’s sad because crime has gone up tremendously. Also I live in NY so I see the crime as well. Not only that the NY cops no longer have immunity so what that means is that criminals can sue the cop personally and not the department which is really bad because my dad is a cop in the NYPD. It’s gotten so bad that criminals do as they please.

@@somewhitman4040 Some city have the drainage systems connected to the sewage systems, in which case a large amount of rainfall can be the very reason that this sort of thing can happen and it also dilutes the sewage quite a bit. It's still going to smell pretty strongly of raw sewage though, and you'll probably need to have every little nook that got covered with the stuff properly sanitized, unless you like your house randomly smelling like raw sewage up to many years after the event and the potential for illnesses it brings with it.

Plus the video showed the bicyclist was the idiot and probably deserved to be punished. I get the feeling they the cops realized the guy learned a lesson without them having to tell him anything. Saved him from further humiliation and embarrassment. Good cop. Kept cool when it would've been okay to act enraged.

06:53 there are big screws on the back of a washing machine which you have to take out before starting to use it (read user manual). They hold spinning drum in place when transporting. If you don't take them out then the drum is fixated and can't amortize freely so the whole machine bounces everywhere and spinning mechanism breaks. Usually washing machines die pretty fast if you use them this way.

The first clip is absolute information overload, but what I do see is a cyclist more focused on his wheely than what was in front of his path. This is why he should have at least gotten a ticket for reckless operation. However...when you're four cops travelling the wrong way down a one way street...and then turning the wrong way down another one way street...while cutting across pedestrians who have the light...it's really difficult to fault the cyclist for his actions.

I'm so confused over that first clip. Did the cop get mad at first but then calmed down? Was he mad at himself for that overly dramatic fall? What did he hand the biker right before the biker he took off? Was the biker at fault? Is it illegal in the state of New York to pop a wheelie on a crosswalk and land on a cop? 🤔🧐😀

@@vette73 Agreed, the cyclist should have at least gotten a ticket for reckless operation, however...when you're four cops travelling the wrong way down a one way street...and then turning the wrong way down another one way street...while cutting across pedestrians who have the light...it's really difficult to fault the cyclist for his actions...or am I missing something about the New York way?

@@vette73 Perhaps...I do see a ferris wheel in the background. However I have read that NY, and many other major metropolitan cities have been re-claiming more of the city streetscape for cyclists and pedestrian traffic, which may explain the barriers. It all looks so busy to me that I'm reminded of the movie Blade Runner.

It was not "over dramatic". For starters, even though you think are "mr. tough", that probably did hurt a little bit. But, as I have seen people here and else where say: I think he was more reacting to the fact that he already has to ride around on a damned scooter - with most people already hating him just because he is a cop - and he just got knocked over by a guy on a bicycle.
