The feeling provokes happiness and emotional safety. It wasn't implied in any way that it should be every kid on earth's experience or that the rest of us didn't grow up perfectly happy in the environments our own parents or guardians created for us. And, BECAUSE you took it as a negative, I'd venture to guess you actually were NOT so happy. At least for some reason you aren't a happy adult. So... deal with yourself, dear. @Bryce I love your videos but maybe you can add some practical questions that would help more people choose tiny houses more than just the design like: 1) Work-life balance. What do they do for a living? Are they all homebased professionals? Or do they drive to the city from the farm? 2) Security. Any prevention from thieves when they are all out of the house? Especially houses in the middle of forest/farm with no nearby neighbors. Tiny houses all look so vulnerable to breaking and entering. 3) Education. Homeschool? Or are they close to a school? 4) More children. What if they have more children in the future? What is the plan in the house design? I love the house designs but it would be great to hear these things from actual people living there to give us audience a more realistic view beyond the dream.

These parents must be in their early 30s-my age-but I don’t possess their same air of adulthood. They could be my mom and dad. They’re the archetypal grown ups. Wild. Why do some people seem so much “older” than their contemporaries?
@danbaltic9678
@danbaltic9678 4 роки тому
Simple answer - cause you are childless therefore have much less responsibility. Also early thirties is not that young. 40's is just in several years time. And 40's is a middle age.

At the end Bryce Langston said, "... they've created a space that really brings their family together which teaches them lessons about what's really important in life and there is no greater gift that you can give your children than that." I agree 100%. In 1984 my wife and I designed and built an 1,800 sq. ft., four bedroom home for our family of six. During the build we rented a 400 sq. ft. cottage. We were never closer as a "family unit" than when we lived in that cottage. After we moved into our new home my wife and I almost felt alone at times because our four children spent maybe too much time in their bedrooms reading, listening to "their" radios and music and calling their friends... Living closer together teaches children team-play as a family; to "share" time together, talk and listen and just sit close together as "one." Long ago our four children moved away and now have their own children. We are cleaning out our garage, attic and closets finding "stuff" we have not seen in decades. We are now designing a tiny house.

Watching these tiny houses has really inspired me to consider embarking on a journey to build design and build a similar house in South Africa and this exposure came when I was preparing to purchase a house through a loan but I will not go that loan route any more. Bryce when you review these tiny homes, could you also mention their power and water sources? While the aesthetics are interesting, on another level I'd like to know more practical details. I sometimes wonder how much of their stuff is in storage? Is what we see in the videos all they really own? I look forward to every video you produce, you do a great job.

He almost always does. He didn't need to ask here because they volunteered it or it is plainly evident. They use composting toilet because there is no septic hookup. There's a monster water cistern in back and they have two LP tanks on the tongue and they are obviously tied into the grid (no solar panels).

Ive been binge watching your channel SO much lately, and of all the tiny houses, I think this might be the nicest and most conventional. The fact they were able to have two gigantic lofted spaces that two full size or bigger beds is awesome... Yes they lack cabinet space compared to others but I think this is the best set up with the most "realistic" amenities. To me also, the washer/dryer is non-negotiable and I love how a "real" one (not a combined machine) was able to fit along with a full size tub! Also the design is stunning and hit the nail right on the head for farmhouse. Great job!

The outdoor makes the indoor feel bigger. When the tour of the inside was being given, in the back of my mind I had the total space available to the property. House may be small but the property itself is bigger than most average suburban block or close to it. I love some of the things in the inside. Specially the large sink, washing a pan in a small sink is messy, and the size of this sink will allow for any family's day to day need. The colour combination is fantastic as well, perfect to brighten the inside and not let the smaller space close in.

@@demonalivefornow9680 taking your problems out on others and lashing out at people that never hurt you, will also *not* make things any better for you and your family situation. You should, instead, give your burdens to Jesus Christ and ask him to guide you through your struggle. I know what it’s like when everything around you comes crushing down, and I can confidently tell you that, *Jesus Christ* saved me and got me through all of it. He’s real. Call out to him and pray daily; the word of God says that God does not turn away anyone who goes to him. So, go to him. Oh, and if you’re confused because fist I said Jesus Christ and then God; they’re the same being. The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, are the same being manifesting in three ways. I love that this house was built around your family and your family didn’t have to fit in. By doing so you have created a little nest for you and your family. I am a mom of 15 that lived my life around my children I was the one that chose to have children and I didn’t feel that because of my choice that my children had to sacrifice who that were or who they would become so I chose to live my life around my children without losing myself and my long term goals along the way which is why now that I’m retired and disabled I have been thinking about alternative options for living as well. I think we will either go with a Yurt home or now that I’ve seen your beautiful home maybe a designed Tiny Home. So thank you very much for sharing your home thoughts and ideas. Your HOME is just that a very homey home.
