The fact that Tonina had the balls to do an interview with you guys is crazy. Especially when everything she told you was different from the police. I think she should be behind bars.

You see a 4 year old in a tub you think he is drowning and you just leave him in there? You call 9-1-1 but leave the baby in the water? My God these people are horrid. This aunt is giving me the creeps.

that 911 call is so eerie. you can hear the moment she realizes how bad her nonchalance sounds to the operator and how she turns on the distress.

Tonina is that person who does a 15 minute maid-of-honor speech where she talks about herself more than the couple. She’s so inwardly focused and mentally ill that she was flattered when the detective complimented her on CPR.

“I totally need counseling,” she says. Detective responds, “You’re definitely a candidate.” Understatement of the year.

It was such a struggle to continue listening to the daughter, Tonina. She was all over the place and so self-absorbed.

ABSOLUTLEY Tonina killed her nephew. Her story is all over the place and changed all the time. They botched this one up big time putting that old lady in jail. Shame on them

How Tonina wasn’t charged at all in any of this is beyond me. The detective put ZERO pressure on her despite changing her story multiple times and her strange comments throughout the entire interview process. It’s baffling.

The mother referring to her 25 year old daughter as “ the little one” as well as making sure she could go live with her sister made it clear to me that the mother is taking the fall.

Is it just me or is this the most obvious crime of a fussed over duaghter kills her nephew and then spends a few hours explaining to her mother ( who is very ill ) to take the blame . This is the reason the mum is pacing. This is the reason the mum says she doesnt want anything to do with the 911 call. This is the reason when talking to Vicky all the mum seems to worry about is how to set Tonita up with a place to stay . food and her sewing business. This is why the mum was so stunned, she knew she was giving up the rest of her life for Tonita. Thia is why Tonitas recalection of events change every time she speaks of what happened that awfull morning. This is why Tonita still to this day referes to her nephew as "THAT LITTLE BOY" This is why Tonita answered the 911 call as if ordering a pizza. The shock had worn off. Her Nephew died at arround 3am. This is why she walked by her nephew still in the bath to call 911. This is why she changes the subject when speaking to investigators. like fishing when she remarked " Could i have been sleepwalking " This is why it was a half hearted attempt at CPR. Tonita knew the nephew had been dead for at least 2-3 hours. No wonder the mother was pacing around shocked. I mean she kept telling Vicky she loved the kid and his mum will be so sad. I never ever heard Tonita mention that anyone else would be sad. upset thier kid had died....... It was the Tonita show. She knew her devoted mum would take the fall for her but her mum still showed compassion when talking to Vicky asking how the boys mum was and telling Vicky how much she loved the kid and how sorry she was this had happened... But the mum couldnt bring herself to tell Vicky her sister Tonita actually did this. And this is what kept Vicky confussed /Upset with her mums answers.. Watch this again with all these things in mind. IT IS SO BLATANT TONITA DROWNED HER NEPHEW AROUND 3am AND SPWNT A FEW HOURS CONVINCING HER MUM TO TAKE THE FALL. WITH HER MUM ALREADY BEING ILL SHE JUST STARTED PACING AND WORRYING ABOUT HER BELOVED DAUGHTER AND ALSO SHOCKED AT THE DEATH OF HER GRANDCHILD. THATS WHY SHE NEVER WANTED TO ACTUALLY TALK TO VICKY ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED AT THE SPECIFIC TIME OF THE BOYS DEATH. TONITA KILLED THE CHILD AND GOT HER MUM ON BOARD TO TAKE THE FALL..POOR OLD ILL WOMAN. I THINK THE GRANDMOTHER IS PORTRAYED SO WRONGLY ON HERE. TONITA NEW SHE WAS ILL AND GOT HER CAUGHT UP IN DEFENDING HER TILL THE END.

All three of the women in this are clearly out of their minds.. and Tonina did this. Period. Hope she gets everything she deserves and god protect her children 🙏

The nonchalant way Tonina was telling the 911 operator her "nephew just drowned in the bathtub, can you send somebody over?" like she's just calling for a cab. It was disturbing than immediately became sickening when she realized the Operator had actual concern for poor DeAngelo, and she tried to act like she did, too. Horrifying

I’ve seen literally hundreds of police interrogations in my life, and Tonina is by a large margin the most mentally unwell person I’ve ever seen interviewed by police.

What are children doing in the care of two women with severe mental health issues. The mother dumps her kids off with these two.. and she knows the history of her sister and mother. Should have been looking at her too for placing her son in a dangerous home. Tonina is all about herself and has a violent streak... the mother is off with dandelion puffs in the wind... and that is what the parents left their son with. Notice also that Vicky stated she spent a week there... in jail. Whole family is nuts.

The fact that Vicki is consoling her mother about different things she's stressed about, and her mother sounding like a teenager as she cries on the phone to her, tells me she's probably been her mother's therapist for a long time. I believe Tonina did it. She shows no emotions, constantly changes the subject to not answer questions, keeps trying to get the detective to tell her she's innocent and her story is so inconsistent.

Tonina is clearly a pathological liar. She made it to the hospital just in time to be told DeAngelo didn’t make it, but then turns around and says she was in the room with him, holding his hand, when he turned purple and passed away. There are SO many inconsistencies in her stories and it is mind blowing she’s not in jail.

Whether she is guilty or not, Terry’s phone calls with Vicki are just so self centered. “I want to go home”, “they’re so mean in here”, “it’s awful here”, “what’s going to happen to the apartment?”, “what did he say about me?”. Not a single one of her thoughts went to her grandson. She was too busy working about herself.

Tonina was feeling guilty and sounded like her own question "was I sleep walking?" was a confession.

I’m really impressed with the 911 operator. They stayed so calm and despite her saying that his lips were blue he still had her continue life saving CPR. When you’re not there it can’t hurt to try. It’s insane how casually she says “can you send someone?.. he drowned in the bathtub” I mean he couldn’t believe his ears. So definitively too, “drowned” as in dead. Crazy most people would go into denial and insist that they can save them. The whole call gave me goosebumps.

The boy probably cut the shower curtain. She probably hung up a new one. Tonina probably cut his top to teach him a lesson and in a rage killed him. Tonina definitely killed DeAngelo. Every person involved in the case failed the little boy by imprisoning the grandmother who probably had chronic depression never getting over the loss of her husband.

You know it’s wild when the woman calls 911 and is so casual about her nephew being dead that it throws the 911 operator off his stride. She was SOOO matter of fact about it. “My nephew is dead. Can you send someone?” Like she’s asking for a table to be cleared after a meal at a restaurant 🤦🏻‍♀️ This woman is crazy, and more than a little terrifying.

Tonina is a danger to herself and society and I cannot believe this police department just seemed completely disinterested in actually getting this case correct. It’s terrifying that she has kids of her own now.

Tonina is certifiably nuts. Her illness is real, my son has it, but I still understand the interviewers frustration. The daughter was scared of losing her mom because I'm positive has no friends. The mom just flipped out and probably was on meds after her husband died that she may not had needed and was making her crazy. That poor baby to live with that and died due to family not looking past all the signs of a very dangerous environment.

It's amazing that she was able to just casually tell the 911 operator that her nephew has died, and didn't actually start acting upset until she's been talking to them for a full on minute. Weird behaviour

I am absolutely convinced that Tonina did it during one of her fits, the mother caught her, and they fought, which is how she ended up with the scratches that were used as evidence against Terry. She then manipulated her emotionally and psychologically vulnerable mother to take the fall, or even believe that it was Terry that did it. Tonina's story isn't consistent. Her sisters don't believe that she wasn't involved. Tonina never referred to DeAngelo with his name. She distanced herself from it. She has a gigantic victim complex and keeps making herself the victim of it rather than her nephew or her sister who just lost her son. She keeps talking about how it's affected her, rather than discussing anything about her sisters, or even her mother. She keeps painting her mother as suspicious, but not to the point where she'd seem like a bad daughter, because that would make her look like a bad person. When she's talking about the CPR during the second interview, she keeps talking about how she feels she could've saved him, which is a real thing, but this is not how guilt usually sounds like. She keeps talking about how everyone blames her. About how hard it is. The 911 call was so strange, she started up emotionless, and then became a hysteric, fake crying wreck. She deflects everything, avoids everything, and can't give clear or direct answers. Why would she have to insist that she's innocent and doesn't understand why people keep telling her that she's to blame for it, when the blame is already on her mother? She's overcompensating. Her nodding yes while trying to say no, then saying she doesn't sleepwalk even though she does, and it wasn't even answering the question. Fucking nothing lines up. The mother doesn't even remember. She just keeps repeating that she snapped, which is sounds more like she was told that rather than what really happened.

This is so frustrating to watch based on all the clue the aunt gave that it was not a accident. Then to have the balls to say oh i dont know why my sister dosent want me at his funeral.

This is unbearable. There is something deeply wrong with Tonina and the fact that nobody questioned her odd behavior or the accounts of her sister attacking her and her 11 year old daughter is crazy. Terry seems completely distraught and confused, and if we look at it from the perspective of Tonina forced her to be quiet about what she did to DeAngelo, her reaction makes much more sense. This is just my theory, I can’t see any world where Tonina is completely innocent here. They never pressed her for answers, she constantly derailed the conversations, she talked about herself, even complained about her sister who just lost her child. Yeah, there’s no way.
