yeah I hated that I had to move my arms with the dodge to register it... you could also cheese a lot of the punches.... just jab instead of hook. Still really liked it, though

Wow, that's dedication ^^ I loved it at first, but those back and forth sliding steps killed it for me, they were rarely recognized. Hope that the motion recognition improves in the new one!

franzi123456 I have trouble getting the sliding to register and found I have to punch at the same time to make it work. In this new one it’s says you can turn off certain moves and that’s certainly going off!

I lost around 20 pounds in 3 months playing the first one with a lil bit of dieting. It was my only form of exercise everyday for 30 mins during the first phase of quarantine. I think consistency helps. I fell off for a bit I’m back on and I’m sore. I just hate the weaves and the steps they don’t really register well maybe this 2nd one fixes that.

100% agree. Releasing this as a sequel as opposed to adding songs and patching issues (player reporting issues with the motion should've been a thing) shows that this is a quick cash in opportunity to them.

Lol I just bought regular fitness boxing 2 weeks ago. Honestly, this game looks like the game I wanted when I started playing the first one so I'm very excited for it! I appreciate that they're going to let us import our old data. I put off buying FB the first time because the default trainer has an annoying voice but I'm glad there's more trainer choices, as well as backgrounds and new music. I really love working out to fitness boxing so although my timing is bad I am looking forward to it!

I hope that until release the devs decide not only to disable moves, but to disable the rating of a move. For example: It would be nice to make steps, but not to make them a false way, because the switch does not recognize them if made correct => disabling the recognition would be a better way (in fB1 the not counted steps in yellow would be the solution here)

Turning off Boxing moves is a WELCOMED feature. The footwork moves in the first simply did not register in game. This immediately became a serious purchase for me now.

I hope this ones fixes problems with timing, because when I do a long jab, it's too slow for it, if I do a short job, it's too fast for it, which makes combo hard... And same goes with hooks, and I guess upper cuts are the worse, because I haven't heard of a quick upper cut, I always do a punch over kinda upper cut, which is too slow for the game. Also, it's weird that when you throw punch and turn your wrist, it has problem detecting that move

I prefer Ringfit Adventure. The ring controller has so much more variety with exercises and clever ways to apply them in minigames. Hope we get a sequel. 😉

Don't be mad, this game won't provide any real upgrades to it, besides the two player mode which I doubt most people will use. Just enjoy the first one, it's great. Wait for a sale and upgrade if you really feel the need.
