I know this video is Five Months Late, but I just recovered all the content and wanted to get it up to share with my friends, family and everyone who enjoys this kind of content. The trip was smooth at first but as you will see, storms began brewing from the Northeast that made for quite a difficult ending. The goal was to arrive in Rochester, New York by Memorial Day for the Yacht Club party... WELL, if the New York Canal system put the funding into fixing their lift bridges instead of parking millions-of-dollars worth of heavy equipment on barges and hiding it on the Mohawk River or Erie canal... I guess we would not have missed our goal.
Days one & two, Rich Aman and I left #Port32Marina in Ft Lauderdale and headed North to end up in this video in Saint Augustine, Florida. Along the way, we met up with my friend Todd Goldstein who brought us a few needed items for the rest of the trip. Thinking we had a weak turbo as boost was difficult to build off the supercharger, we made a system to inject WD40 into the inlet, which helped for a while. Adding the Lucas oil also helped and when the injectors all came alive to full potential, our full power was back! From that point on, we added one gallon of Mercury Quicksilver 2-stroke oil to each tank of fuel and had zero issues for the rest of the trip... well, with the engines that is!!
