Leclerc Answer Was the Best on That Amazing 2021 Title Fight

I’m sure it’s been said but what sucks the most about how this turned out is the divide it caused between the fan base. I loved that people generally liked the sport more than a driver or a team. It stinks that we as fans can’t celebrate a generational talent in Max to the fullest because we wanted either to win but in a way that wasn’t controversial. I may be alone in this but I specifically remember having the thought that this was stuff of movies. That the sport I love was going to give us something magical and my only hope was that it ended in a way that wasn’t controversial. I am of the camp that feels that Lewis got cheated out of it. But it sucks because Max didn’t do anything wrong and deserved to win.

At the end of the day there prob isnt anything that can be done now, but if you are a fan with any shred of integrity you know that the rules were broken and it was a fraudulent championship. It has nothing to do with what happened earlier in the season etc bc it came down to equal points at the last last race. Ill never understand people saying Lewis deserved to win in abu dhabi but max deserved the title. Thats not how that works, the winner of this race wins the title and when it came down to it Lewis was owning this race and the latifi crashed which is unfortunate, but it doesnt matter because merc played it perfectly. Merc played by the rules and decided to hold track position because they felt with the amount of laps left the race would not resume ,and there were right, however since masi decided to break the rules and gift Max the win by not only not letting all cars through, but once you let all lapped cars through the rules says you have to do one extra lap. That is what the rules say and that is what has always happened in every SC situation except, yo guessed it this one. If the extra required lap was completed that wouldve been the last lap under the safety car with Lewis finishing P1 and Max P2 with Lewis breaking the record for most drivers championships. Instead Lewis was robbed and despite that people still see this as a great day somehow. The people out there that think this was okay, when you but your whole life into doing something it it is about to all pay off. You are about to be the person standing at the top alone. "Lewis Hamilton 8 Drivers Championships" but instead you are robbed of this because the person who is in charge of the rules that is supposed to be enforcing them gives your rival the win. If you are reading this as a sports fan or just a person in general and you think Max winning was okay here just know you have absolutely 0 integrity in every sense of the word and I would never trust you in anything to play fair.
