@@jasminesavard3761 I don't think there ever will be. I grew up watching sitcoms like Fresh prince and though they were hilarious, they had such a deep meaning behind a lot of the episodes.

Such a beautiful MATURE and CLASSY way to mend the bridge/gap between the two of them as well as the cast and we the audience. WE LOVE YOU ALL! THANK YOU for allowing us to see on the inside..

That was so beautiful and profound. The second Aunt Viv faced a lot of criticism. Although the original Aunt Viv was incredible the second did a great job and her best. I think it would have been more believable if he simply remarried but nonetheless that was beautiful. Second aunt Viv gave off more of a grandmother vibe to the show in my opinion.

@@Awillii Janet's version always had a far more fiery and sassy personality and she *knew* where she came from and what she stood for even with her wealth and status. Daphne's was far more what you described; much more soft and subdued.

@@Awillii A grandmother vibe where there were no grandkids just yet...totally different vibes. Original Aunt Viv kept it fresh, remembered her roots, and reminded her children and Will of their roots.

Its good see forgiveness on that level publically, because it could inspire others to do the same. The world needs more forgiveness and positive energu.

@@Awillii The first Aunt Viv (Janet) had a strong character and effectively stood beside the rest of the cast and kept up with Will, Alfonso, and James Avery. When the 2nd Aunt Viv (Daphne) was put into the show, it was fairly clear from the writing her character was reduced and seemed she was standing in the back of the cast, instead as their equals. I was confused watching her character become almost formulaic. It wasn't the fault of the actress, but I really think Will had a hand in it to get the writers to diminish the role. With that said, it is good Will and Janet buried the hatchet.

Yep this was my all time favorite show from the 90s. I was a teen in junior high and high school at the time. I watched and liked other shows but this was my heart.
