For everyone that doesn't know: This kind of content does very well on UKposts and creates a lot of money for the creators as you might imagine if you see the viewer count of currently 46 million. So, the most common way to make content like this is, you take something (like this motorcycle for example), age it artificially so it looks as messy as possible, and then make a video about the restoration process. And this is how you can tell its artificially aged: If you look at the corrosion patterns, you see a uniform patina that makes it look very beaten up (which in itself doesn't happen naturally). However, if you watch the cleaning-up process, you can see that the corrosion is only on the surface. If it would be slow corrosion over a long period of time, you would have parts more damaged than others and deep pitting in the most exposed parts as well as water condensation within the mechanical parts that aren't exposed to direct weather, which would cause corrosion even in sealed areas. The insides of the motor look brand new. If you look closely, there is no sign the camshaft has worn. The oil is still liquid. After removing the surface corrosion with light tools, there is hardly any sign of material pitting left. If I would have to guess, I would say they poured salt water on it for a couple of months to make it look like that. So, yes, you got fooled for money.

Спасибо , было очень смешно и больно )) Братки нанесли грунт без чистки и обезжиривания , после чего прошкурили и без обезжиривания решили сразу покрасить , после чего наглушняк покрасили вилки (с зеркалами) после чего покрасили с внутренней стороны движок , отдельного восхищения заслуживает работа с баком . Замечательно !

Покрасить тормозные диски и перья передних амортизаторов это что за опилки должны быть в голове, а сделать хон в цилиндрах наждачной бумагой это просто гениально 😂😂😂

This is a prime example of why I didn't become an engineer. Just thinking about the design process to go from paper to completed bike give me a migraine. Then to think about the guys who take a rusted out POS and restore it to pristine condition humbles me to the utmost. Kudos to all involved. I have a hard time replacing windshield wipers never mind a full restoration.

perfectly new tires, inflated and all on an abandoned bike lol. Even though this is really similar to those sneaker restore videos where they obviously bought and old pair and put some dirt on them, the whole reassembly and recondition process was really satisfying.

It looks like this bike has been sitting outside the element or flooded based on the shape. I have my good vietnamese & Filipino mechanics, they don't need lots of tools. There are many good asian mechanics who doesn't have diploma to be able to fix or restore, some are just acquired by experience and taught by their certified mechanics and some went to tech school. They started as a helper and then turn to mechanics . Some go back to school to be able to have certification and have their license. They only have minimal tools. If they need special tools that is the time they will buy or borrow from other mechanics. I am so impress the skills of this guy. It looks easy disassembling but is not. It is much more harder restoring and assembling especially the electrical part, engine disassembly/assembly, the correct bolts to put, it is impressive. Personally, if not the results is the same as going to big shops charging lots of money. Well that is business which I understand. What I preferred in going to the dealer is using their diagnostic machine and repaired to a reliable mechanic outside the shop if it can be done or doesn't need any special tools. Anyways, Thanks for this video. The kawasaki bike turn into a BMW. :) Peace !!! I appreciate it.

I'm the furthest thing from a mechanic myself but this is a great and fascinating video to watch!!! I never realized how many small items that are actually inside of the engine so to see the meticulous and tedious work he put into that bike was awesome to see

So amazing, and these guys do this with no bike lift. I would have left the frame and the swingarm all rusty then clear coat them. Show some of it's old self in the design. UKposts is the best, I love this whole vibe...with just the clicks and clinks of metal. A tiny bit of ambient music, the editing...incredible!

работы иного смотреть прикольно ! НО 1) Почему у них пластик ржавый 2) почему блестят тормозные диски? причем в самом начале 3) почему шины накачаны и протектор не потерт практически 4) когда его катили нигде ничего не терло и не скрипело 5) почему почти все болты выкручиваются без проблем

Проверить метки цепи после пробного запуска, это гениально, прокладки между башкой и клапаной крышкой просто бомбовые на формуле 1 такие же ставят, шлифовать цилиндры наждачкой 😍😍😍, покрыть не термостойкой краской весь движок и коробку🥰😍🥰, мда аж слезы наварачиваются от такой сборки 🥲

Собрать все болты, и отпустить их, при том что они должны быть определенной твердости, это конечно сильно 👍.

The bike looks amazing. Night and day difference, and the red rear sprocket was a very nice choice ! Simple, yet adds so much. The engine looks spectacular. You restored every single nut and bolt, every part was touched and cleaned. The inner working of all the gears and levers is overwhelming. It's incredible technology to me.

I usually watch this kind of video of restoration of motorbike, but this video amaze me do even the entire engine was dismantle it and return it. Such a talented person.💯👍
