Hi from Norway. I was born in 1966, and remember these nice two stroke Jawa motorcycles. There was a couple of them in my neighbourhood where i grew up. The Jawa and the Tempo two stroke MCs from that era looked much the same. Only the Tempo had one cylinder Sachs engines vs the two cylinder Jawa. You made this old rusty Jawa shine like new again. Very beautiful color paint job. Together with the polished up engine, and new cromed parts, it is a gorgeous bike. New ball-bearings ++ and hardening of bolts and everything, made a serious restoration. I loved watching all the work you gave this bike. Thank you for showing it all very nicely in this video.👌

Even Jawa was made in Czechoslovakia as a polish I really appreciate that I could be a witness this beauty back to previous glory.Motorcycle that I actually recognize and take a ride even that was few times older than me.

Greetings from the Czech Republic, the former Czechoslovakia, where this beauty was made. JAWA is a matter of the heart for every Czechoslovak. It's beautiful to see the care and hard work you've put into this machine. I must admit, I was surprised by the choice of metallic paint. Here, when these veterans are renovated, it's done faithfully, including the chrome and the shade of paint. But I admit, this color also looks great on the motorcycle.

And the sound of the old 2 tac was good to hear. I watched this from start to finish GREAT JOB. Кайфанул у батиного друга была такая, а у отца 350 1985 года. И стояли они в нашем гараже, а я ставил в гараже ветосипед взрослый. В 14 лет я у бати угнал его моцик, чуток рихтанул подножку, потому что не доставал до земли ногами, и стартовал с подножки. Ехал километров 60 в сторону города Серов на севере Урала. Не мог развернуться, было страшно что уроню мотоцикл 😅. Больше я его не трогал, был 1990 год. Сейчас мне почти 50 лет, и отца нет уже 10 лет. А Ява всё ещё моя мечта! Узнаю по голосу даже в шумном городе! Автору браво!!! ❤❤❤

Great job restoring the JAWA. I wasn't familiar with the JAWA until I saw your video. I was impressed with your expertise and ability to not only break it down but reassemble all the pieces back into their proper place. That's a masterpiece of a paint job. I would've been reluctant to take it out in the woods, snow and dirt after all those hours spent restoring it but you either ride it or display it only. Looking forward to your next restoration.

Great video ❤. Jawa still makes motorcycles in India 🇮🇳. It still has its vintage looks but fitted with modern liquid-cooled, EFI, 4-stroke engines. Delivers the best of the both vintage and modern.

One of the best restorations I have ever seen; loved that painted epoxy chrome technique and that you thrashed on it at the end; a way to test a bike made to be ridden.

In the 70s my wife and I flew from Australia bought a Jawa twin like this one in London brand new😮. We did a check ride to Scotland then back to Hollande, through France to Portugal aand Spain then around to Italy then down to bari then ferry to Greece all over Greece then all over turkey, up through Serbia and Croatia, through Austria through Germany and back to England then back to Switzerland and there sold the bike. In the whole trip it went like a dream, the only persistent problem was generator issues which I eventually fixed with modified brushes in Italy. I wish I still owned that wonderful Czech bike but when I got back to Australia I got a new CZ 400 race bike to stop me grieving for her… many happy race days later I got a 250 CZ as well.

Had a 67-68 Jawa scooter bought mail order from a Sears Roebuck catalogue in 1967 for $199. This channel actually found one and did a beautiful restoration. I stripped the sheet metal body off mine and used "horse pad" strapped to the fuel tank as a seat. That is where the fuel tank was mounted, not forward like a regular MC. (a fabric pad used in place of a saddle- WE HAD HORSES). I used to it race it against 125 Ducati's and Bultacos. I beat the hell out of that two-stroke 49cc single cylinder. Never failed me. Beautiful restoration by these guys.

Only a true motorcycle restorer can make such a video, you captured the exact feel good moments of a rebuild yet show the extent of work needed to revive the art of the bike. Bike rebuilds are truly a case of you only get out what you put in and doing the work yourself means you put in 100% and get back that mystical 110%. Ive done 50+ rebuilds, zinc plating and the use of a lathe plus wheel rebuilds adds the perfect touch but to each master his own. The video work is just so well done, the bike build is a mamouth task but the video work must have doubled the work. Thank you you convoyed the sense of satisfaction of a good bike rebuild perfectly.

I remember a teacher I had in high school rode a Jawa motorcycle to school every day, rain or shine. That year was 1960. My years were from 1958 - 1962. It was the days of Jawas, Zundaps, Marushues, Cushmans, Vespas, Lambrettas, Harley Hummers - 125's and 165's, Triumph Tiger Cubs, BSA Bantams, Mustangs, Wizzer motorbikes and Mo-peds of all kinds. It was a great time to be a kid.

У моего отца была сначала 250-ка, а потом он взял двухцилиндровую 375 с коляской. Мы на ней ездили с отцом в Евпаторией, Нальчик Барнаул, и потом обратно. Мотоцикл безотказный был, главное уход. Руки у человека золотые, и чувствуется любовь к технике, просто молодец.
