Get the Haynes manual and it's doable for most people with the right tools - however the bodywork stuff he did, that's above and beyond factory - that's more 1930s grade with planisher and filler grading and the like. Most garages would drill out the doorskins and replace them - but replacements expense and need spot welding. Quite impressive - especially with all the electronics on that car.

Yeah, people don't realize how much on UKposts is fiction trying to be passed off as legit. Everything from cooking to construction, etc. Channels and users calling BS on such things are on the rise, and that's a good thing. A lot of it is potentially hazardous for people trying to use the videos as learning tools and tutorials. Because it's my personal background, it's the DIY construction/home renovation stuff that cheeses me the most. I regularly see videos appearing to be "how-to education," made by amateurs who are DIYing, that are nowhere near meeting building codes, very likely should require a building permit/inspection (and no mention of these things), and simply darned dangerous.
