When my husband and I were stationed in Japan in 1990 a very old Japanese man came up to him and thanks him profusely for dropping the bomb. My husband looked very confused and asked why would you thank me for something so horrible. The old man said that he had already lost two son's in the war and by dropping the bomb and ending the war, we saved his last son's life. Talk about an odd twist of reality. This man was grateful for some so awful.

As horrific a incident as was the atomic bombing of Japan because of their mindset at the time as hard as it may be to want to believe the a-bomb actually saved many many more lives than it took... ‘Jesus killed your puppy...’ Seriously Ricky?!
